a highly promising field of specialization that is said to hold the keys to a better integration in the professional scene for newly graduated computer science students, especially those who are determined to have a successful career path in the world of Finance. Our shared passion with Finance and our collective dreams to see more students from our school choosing to work on this field in particular , has brought us closer than ever. That’s why we were set on the same goal: create a place where we could collaborate and learn from each other , a genuine attempt to step up the game and make a name for our brand among the other already established clubs
within our school. That’s how our journey began as a new club was finally born in 2011 : ENSI Finance Club ( aka EFC)

( Why in 2011 ? -> it was the long-awaited-for year in which our field was greenlit and officially launched by the administration of ENSI.) Our Structure

Our club is currently working on 3 main axes, which are laid out as following :

Computer Science :

Since we are supposed to have a rather good knowledge of programming skills , it is equally important to highlight the platforms languages and tools used by professional quant developpers while coding and later implementing their applications, designed for financial instituions (from Matlab
training sessions, advanced introduction to MS Excel or VB and eventually more sophisticated softwares / systems)

Finance :

This team works on providing activities centering around general topics related to finance (Visit to the Stock Exchange, Conferences on Quantitative Finance, Simulations of some complex theoretical and mathematical Finance Models...) Islamic Finance :

a unit focused on organizing meetings on themes like
Islamic Banking and inviting keynote speakers and representatives/figures from the financial Institutions with an Islamic Background
