About yesterday activity: Intercultural night
We organized an intercultural night bringing together participants from four countries: Italy, Tunisia, Estonia, and Egypt. Each group presented its country through traditional goodies and sweets, a brief presentation highlighting landscapes and cultural aspects, and music that reflected their national identity. The activity created a warm and interactive space to discover cultural diversity, share traditions, and strengthen connections among participants through exchange and mutual curiosity.

Day 4 activity:
Participants to the Headquarters of Anna Lindh Foundation (ALF) in Alexandria, they had an info session about the Organization, its mission, vison, projects, opportunities....
Next they had a brief presentation about Youthpass of Erasmus projects, its key points and advantages.
Next activity was a role play, each group of five participants make a role play about a topic related to the program "Choose to be You) some topics were really interesting because they were commonly known in the society about taboo subjects. These role plays focused on expressing someone's hard situations and how he can deals with them.

Activity 4: During this group activity, participants worked in small groups to discuss and define the concepts of “self,” “others,” and “enemies.” Group members shared their views and reached a common understanding of each concept. At the end of the discussion, each group presented a conclusion about the task and reflected on its importance. The activity supported critical thinking and helped participants understand how perceptions are formed, while highlighting the role of dialogue and cooperation in developing awareness and empathy.

"The first activity involved participants drawing a personal timeline to map out five pivotal decisions that shaped their life journeys. Beyond simply listing these events, they documented the underlying motivations for each choice, analyzed the long-term impact on their personal and professional trajectories, and evaluated how their current wisdom would have altered their approach. By examining these past actions, participants were able to identify recurring behavioral patterns, distinguish between internal and external pressures, and reconcile their past selves with their current values, turning a simple reflection into a profound exercise in self-awareness and growth."

We are immensely proud of our youth worker Maher Hassen, who represented FHIRED at the Erasmus+ KA1 Training Course "QUEST: Outdoor Expedition for Youth Empowerment & Tool-Development" in Sakarya, Türkiye (5–13 December 2025).

This inspiring program was expertly organized by Gençsen Club Association 🇹🇷, bringing together youth representatives from 17 different countries. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Sakarya Municipality for their warm hospitality and excellent hosting.

Beyond the core training a hands-on tool development lab focusing on digital skills, sustainability, and inclusion our delegation also visited Sakarya University. There, we conducted a session guiding students on how to access Erasmus+ opportunities, including youth exchanges, training courses, and Erasmus Mundus masters programs.

It was a profound experience of cross-cultural learning and solidarity, reinforcing our commitment to a world where human rights are applied more equally and fairly.

Maher returns equipped with new tools, methodologies, and international connections to enrich our youth initiatives at FHIRED. This investment in our team’s growth translates directly into greater innovation and empowerment for the young people we serve.

🇹🇳 "Youth will be free" Erasmus+ Project: Day 3 Wrap-Up! 🇪🇺
What an intensive and inspiring final day in Hammamet! We started strong and finished with unforgettable memories.

💡 We kicked off our day with an Energizer ⚡ to get the creativity flowing, followed by the high-stakes Pitching Mini-Projects session! Groups presented their brilliant Erasmus+ ideas and got valuable jury feedback. We then moved into Collaborative Report Writing to co-draft our report on youth worker roles across the Partners countries. 💻

💖 The afternoon was dedicated to defining our legacy with a Next Steps Discussion, agreeing on concrete plans for future cooperation.

Then, it was time for the highlight: Cultural Discovery & Team Bonding! We explored the stunning Hammamet Medina. 📸

The project concluded with our Final Closure & Feedback session. Thank you to all the amazing participants for making this experience a success.
