SPARK has launched its Green Forward programme, funded by the European Union, aimed at strengthening the green business ecosystem and promoting the green and circular economy in the Southern Neighbourhood region, across seven countries: Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, Libya, Morocco, and Tunisia.⁠

The Green Forward launch event by SPARK was held in Amman within the IGNITE conference, bringing together key international public and private sector leaders, as well as business support organisations from Jordan and the MENA region.⁠

Reflecting on 2024: A Year of Resilience and Impact 👏🏼

Despite a year marked by global challenges, 2024 was a testament to the power of innovation and collaboration. SPARK proudly supported young entrepreneurs in Palestine, helped rebuild lives in Libya, and fostered sustainable growth in Lebanon, Burundi and beyond.

🎉 After 12 months of intense work, the Build Up Tunisia programme is coming to an end!
🔙 This programme took place in 2️⃣ phases: the first aimed at building the capacity 📈 of 8 support structures, and the second supporting them in setting up their own support programmes for 48 entrepreneurs 🚀 from 12 different regions. 📣 During the closing ceremony, a panel discussion took place with the participation of our dear guests:

🔹 Mr Fadi Souilem, CEO of Coworky in Tunisia
🔹 Mr Anouar Hachemane, CEO of Skoolup in Algeria.

🎉 Après 12 mois de travail intense, le programme Build Up Tunisia touche à sa fin !
🔙 Ce programme s'est déroulé sur 2️⃣ phases, la première visait le renforcement de capacités 📈 de 8 structures d’appui et la 2ème phase les appuyant pour la mise en place de leurs propres programmes d’accompagnement au profit de 48 entrepreneurs 🚀 de 12 régions différentes.
📣 Lors de la cérémonie de clôture, un panel de discussion a eu lieu avec la participation de nos chers invités :

نحن نمكّن الشركات الناشئة التونسية من التوسع خارج أسواقها المحلية واغتنام الفرص الدولية من خلال برنامج "من الابتكار إلى الإبداع" الممول من الاتحاد الأوروبي.

بالشراكة مع Taysir Conseil وWecode، أجرينا دورات تدريبية لـ 10 شركات ناشئة تونسية، بهدف مساعدتها في الوصول إلى أسواق جديدة وتحقيق قابلية التوسع على المستوى الدولي. وتناول المشاركون موضوعات تتراوح بين المخاطر وفرص النمو، وتعرفوا على مواضيع مختلفة واكتسبوا رؤية ثاقبة من الأمثلة الملموسة وأفضل الممارسات للشركات الناشئة في المنطقة.

Nous donnons aux startups tunisiennes les moyens de s'étendre au-delà de leurs marchés locaux et de saisir les opportunités internationales grâce au programme « De
l’innovation à la création » financé par l’Union européenne.🇹🇳🇪🇺

En partenariat avec Taysir Conseil et WeCode, nous avons organisé des sessions de formation pour 10 startups tunisiennes, dans le but de les aider à accéder à de nouveaux marchés et à atteindre une scalabilité internationale. Couvrant des sujets allant de la diversification des risques aux opportunités de croissance, les participants ont exploré divers sujets et ont tiré des enseignements d'exemples concrets et des meilleures pratiques des startups de la région.

« En tant que startup tunisienne, nous considérons notre expérience en Tunisie comme une étape vers la validation de notre idée d'expansion vers de nouveaux marchés en Europe et en Afrique » , en tenant compte de leurs comportements de consommation distincts, des défis et des opportunités, a déclaré Khalil Bessaad, co-fondateur de Hi Interns, une startup comblant le fossé entre les demandeurs d'emploi et le secteur privé grâce à des stages.
