Established under Law No. 92-65 of July 13, 1992, the Preparatory Institute of Engineering School of Monastir is located in a truly exceptional scientist. Membership of the University of Monastir and its direct vicinity of the major scientific institutions, universities in the region gives it a special place in the national map of higher education in Tunisia. Training is provided in two years by:
teachers and lecturers very committed to their work and keen to support the best students in the preparation of the competition for access to engineering schools;
associate teachers and secondary teachers experienced and known their educational and scientific skills. Of temporary teachers from neighboring academic institutions. With three departments (MP, PC and Technology), over 120 teachers, 36 staff IATOS the IPEIM now houses 1802 students among the elite graduates of sciences. Its mission is to develop students' scientific skills that will enable them to do well the competition for access to engineering schools. With this in mind that the institute offers the best actors working conditions to increase their knowledge in different disciplines, scientists and provide them with a strong background in foreign languages at the end to make them suitable for training in engineering schools.
