Today we introduce you about a British man who proved that an is the most particle and can be further divided into sub-atomic particles, when he discovered the electron. He is our second "scientist of the day" today (2nd article of the day).

Thomson was a mathematician by education and a doyen of experimental physics. His father was a bookseller and wanted him to become an , but destiny had other ideas.
