Three chemistry heroes!
Jennifer Doudna (left), Carolyn Bertozzi (middle) and Frances Arnold (right) have all been awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry.
Doudna was awarded the 2020 prize for her research on genome editing. This year's laureate Bertozzi works on click chemistry whilst 2018 chemistry laureate Arnold works on enzyme engineering.

This week in 1911, Marie Curie became the first person to be awarded a second Nobel prize. She had isolated radium by electrolyzing molten radium chloride.
Her first Nobel prize was in Physics in 1903 for her research in spontaneous radiation phenomena
