Le 30 novembre, le club TIMUN LPA et le club TIMUN Esprit ont organisé une mini-simulation commune à Esprit, avec pour thème du débat la lutte contre la drogue et la criminalité. Dès les premiers discours, de profonds différends sont notés entre les différents délégués : certains mettant en avant les avancées notoires de leurs pays pendant cette lutte alors que d’autres tempèrent et mettent l’accent sur le chemin encore à parcourir. Néanmoins, tous s’accordent sur l’étroitesse des liens entre trafic de stupéfiants et crime organisé, par conséquent, la communauté internationale se doit d’agir, soudée, afin d’éradiquer ces fléaux qui gangrènent la plupart de nos sociétés actuelles.

Congratulations for all your sacrifices.

I am glad that you all been be part of "the story". This beautiful story I should say.

When I was approached last year in September by the MUN Community, I did not hesitate one second to lend my personal support to this initiative. Welcoming the past few days about 100 motivated and bright students in ESPRIT and hosting this prestigious event that is ESPRIT MODEL UNITED NATIONS were so honoring for ESPRIT and Tunisia. I hope the simulation have inspired you during your exchanges throughout the week-end.
To resume what you’ve done during this weekend. As EMUN’s PRESIDENT I can confirm that you all did a great work, and made proof that you can all be great leaders tomorrow.

Despite notable progress from a sizable portion of members of the UN relating to women’s emancipation, certain sectors remain dangerously precarious and others has never been discussed openly.

Lately, The international community has found in international terrorism one of the greatest challenges of history when it is about the preservation of collective security, and technologie is moving on from breakthrough to breakthrough and societies and entire countries depend on it for their interests and security.

In West Africa rages in rampant impunity, various extremist islamist groups, under the noses of the international community. These are a danger for any citizen.

And last but not least war, refugees, the rise of neonationalisms, international terrorisms, lack of natural resources and fossil fuels, economic growth of emerging countries and social problems resulting from the brutal evolution of societies to urbanism, all this has filled the agendas of all countries on the planet, in a Futuristic crisis cell.

Several of those issues were on your agenda this weekend. I tried to learn more about
your proposals. I am convinced that the resolutions adopted by your various committees are
useful reading for our nationale and international diplomats. Fresh ideas and perspectives are always interesting to take on board when you want to move a process forward.

As a true believer in world society and MUN Community, I would like to finish my words by a quote from the pop star, Micheal Jackson as he said “ If you want to make a World a BETTER place, take a look at YOURSELF and make that change”.
And that’s what you futur leaders, are committing to, making the decision to go through a journey fulfilled with hardships and challenges in the aim to make from this world a better place.

And Finally, would like to thank all the people that contributed to make from this experience a great one.

Congratulations to all of you once again. I wish you all the best for your future dreams and
career’s intentions.
