With curious minds and bright smiles, our young Thaddeans explored one of the most important landmarks in Timor-Leste, learning about leadership, history, and national pride in a fun and meaningful way.

From wide-eyed discoveries to unforgettable moments, this educational journey was filled with learning, laughter, and inspiration. 🌟

Earlier this morning, the St. Jude Thaddeus International School Elementary Department successfully conducted its 2nd Clean-Up Drive for 2026 at the beautiful Largo de Lecidere, with the active participation of our administrators, teachers, and students.

This meaningful activity reflects our commitment to environmental stewardship and community responsibility. Through teamwork and volunteerism, our young Thaddeans learned the importance of keeping public spaces clean, protecting nature, and becoming responsible citizens who care for their surroundings.

More than just a clean-up activity, it was an opportunity to put into action our core value of HOPE, particularly Patriotism, by demonstrating love and respect for our community and the environment we share.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to everyone who participated and contributed to the success of this activity. Together, we continue to build a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable Timor-Leste for future generations.

Today, our Thaddean learners celebrate not only the beauty and richness of our oceans but also the wisdom of Tara Bandu, a treasured Timorese tradition that teaches respect, responsibility, and stewardship of our natural resources.

Through cultural appreciation, environmental awareness, and collective action, we reaffirm our commitment to protecting the seas that sustain life, support communities, and inspire future generations.

St. Jude Thaddeus International School successfully concluded its Mid-Year In-Service Training (INSET) 2026 held on June 1–2, 2026 at the Preschool Campus, Vila Verde, Dili, Timor-Leste.

Guided by the theme, “𝑶𝒏𝒆 𝑺𝑱𝑻𝑰𝑺, 𝑶𝒏𝒆 𝑴𝒊𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏, 𝑶𝒏𝒆 𝑯𝒐𝒑𝒆: 𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒃𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒛𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂 𝑪𝒖𝒍𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒇𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒔𝒎, 𝑼𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑻𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒔𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒎𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝑺𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒊𝒄𝒆”, the two-day professional development program brought together our teaching and non-teaching workforce in a meaningful journey of learning, collaboration, reflection, and growth.

The training featured enriching sessions on diversity of learners, lesson planning with Artificial Intelligence, teaching strategies and approaches, effective classroom management, child protection and PSEAH, company policy and culture, as well as demonstration teaching sessions across different academic levels. Interactive workshops, team-building activities, and collaborative discussions further strengthened camaraderie and reinforced our commitment to excellence in education.

More than a training, this INSET became a celebration of our shared mission, collective aspirations, and unwavering dedication to serving our learners and the community.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our resource speakers, demonstration teachers, organizing committees, school leaders, and all participants whose contributions made this event meaningful and successful.

Our Elementary Thaddeans joyfully celebrated the Restoration of Independence Day of Timor-Leste through fun and meaningful activities that showcased learning, creativity, and love for the nation. ❤️💛🖤

The pupils actively participated in the History and Geography Quiz Bowl, where they proudly learned more about the rich culture, heroes, and history of Timor-Leste. They also expressed their talents in the Arts Competition and amazed everyone with their colorful and lively Cultural Dance Competition. 🎨🕺🌏

Through these activities, our young learners discovered the importance of patriotism, unity, and respect for the beautiful heritage of Timor-Leste. 🇹🇱

Our High School Thaddeans proudly celebrated Timor-Leste’s Restoration of Independence Day with deep respect, unity, and love for the nation.

The celebration began with the solemn singing of the Timor-Leste National Anthem, a meaningful moment that reminded everyone of the courage, sacrifices, and hope that shaped the country’s independence. This was followed by a vibrant Timor-Leste Cultural Dance Competition, where our students showcased the beauty, rhythm, and richness of Timorese heritage.

More than a celebration, this event reflected one of our HOPE Core Values: P – Patriotism. Through song, dance, and cultural expression, our learners were reminded to honor the nation, appreciate its history, and take pride in becoming responsible young citizens who contribute to its future.

At SJTIS, we continue to nurture learners who value culture, respect national identity, and carry the spirit of patriotism with dignity and pride.
