The applications for 2026 Australia Awards Timor-Leste (AATL) Women in Leadership short course are currently OPEN. It offers a chance to AAS male and female alumni and representatives from the Government, Private sectors and Civil Societies to sharpen their leadership, influencing, and communication skills while boosting confidence in personal leadership style. Slots are offered up to 25 participants through a very selective process.

The approximate 9-day intensive course (combining full and half days) will take place in Dili. Applications deadline will be on 19th April 2026.

We would like to thank all alumni who recently participated in our Annual General Meeting (AGM) and the election of the new TL3A Board on Saturday 21 February 2026. The election process for the new board went smoothly, with 95 alumni voting either in person (25) or online (70).

The secretariat would like to introduce our new TL3A Board members for the period of 2026-2028, who were successful with their vision of ‘(Engage for Impact)’ :

The official hand over will be held on Friday 27 of March at the annual Welcome Home Dinner reception hosted by the Australian Embassy.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to our previous Board, Maria Amelia (President), Gil Zairo (Vice President), Maria Nunes (Board Member), Antonio Castro (Board Member) and Salvador Pires (Board Member) for their hard work and dedication to supporting TL3A activities and engaging with alumni during their two year mandate (2024-26).
