Few glimpses of UCAMUN Mock Conference 2025!

From 16 to 19 January, UCA students participated in the Model United Nations conference organised by the National University of Science and Technology, Pakistan. During the four days of committee sessions, they actively demonstrated their skills in diplomacy and public speaking by engaging in debates on global issues, focusing on international relations, and addressing pressing global challenges. Nuriya Otambekova, a freshman student, was honoured with the Outstanding Diplomacy Award, while Asif Khan and Anushah Sadruddin received Honourable Mentions. Mavluda Shaikhova, Bushra Iqbal, and Mehrona Karamshoeva were awarded certificates for their active participation.

We have successfully conducted online Mock Conference 2023!

In our MUN, not only can students become delegates as participants, but they can also become Co-chairs for heads of committees. Our Co-chairs responsible for keeping the debate flowing, whilst ensuring that all rules are being complied with by the delegates.

Meet our intelligent, attentive, proficient Co-chairs who excelled at the conference and gained invaluable experience in the bank of their knowledge.

MUN clubs on Khorog and Naryn campuses, in partnership with the Tennessee State University, are organizing an Online MUN Mock Conference for UCA STUDENTS ONLY. The purpose of the conference is to give the students first-hand experience of MUN and prepare for the bigger conferences that will take place later this semester.    

📌Conference dates: 11-12 February 2023 
📌Time: 7 PM for the Khorog campus/ 8 PM for the Naryn campus  
📌Venue: Online  
Committees & Topics:  
1. United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) - Rethinking about Ways to Prevent Human Trafficking 
2. United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) - Removing Tangible Barriers for Children to Escape Poverty
