The OSCE Programme Offices in Astana, Bishkek and Dushanbe and the Project Coordinator in Uzbekistan, are pleased to announce a call for applications for the Central Asian Model OSCE. The event will bring together university students and young professionals across the Central Asia to learn and build capacity in active participation in the decision-making processes and will provide the platform for youth dialogue on security issues and multilateralism.

Программный офис ОБСЕ в Душанбе объявляет набор кандидатов для участия в мероприятии “Модель ОБСЕ”. Модель ОБСЕ - это имитационная игра, которая воспроизводит работу Постоянного Совета ОБСЕ. Участники будут представлять страны - участницы ОБСЕ и другие соответствующие институты и субъекты, участвующие в разрешении различных ситуаций. Модель ОБСЕ, включает в себя обучающие семинары-тренинги, лекции и практическую работу. Модель ОБСЕ будет проходить 27-31 октября 2025 года. Официальный язык мероприятия- русский язык.
Цель проекта – показать молодым людям структуру работы ОБСЕ на международном уровне, улучшить их навыки лидерства и ведения переговоров, а также предоставить возможность получить опыт многосторонней дипломатии.
Программный офис ОБСЕ в Душанбе приглашает мотивированных молодых людей, которые хотели бы принять участие в мероприятии. Идеальный кандидат – это молодой человек, интересующийся международными отношениями и политологией.

Условия участия:
1. Быть молодым человеком в возрасте 18-25 лет;
2. Заполнить и представить анкету для участия;
3. Записать и представить вместе с анкетой 1-минутное видео рассказывающее о себе и своих интересах (на официальном языке мероприятия);
4. Владеть официальным языком мероприятия;
5. Иметь желание активно участвовать в работе мероприятия.

Что такое ОБСЕ?
Организация по безопасности и сотрудничеству в Европе (ОБСЕ) – это крупнейшая в мире региональная организация, занимающаяся вопросами безопасности, ведущая работу по обеспечению мира, демократии и стабильности для более миллиарда человек.
ОБСЕ использует всеобъемлющий подход к безопасности, который включает в себя военно-политическое; экономико-экологическое; и человеческое измерения. В связи с этим рассматривается широкий спектр вопросов связанных с безопасностью, в их числе: контроль над вооружениями, укрепление мер доверия и мер безопасности, права человека и национальных меньшинств, демократизация, законотворчество, борьба с терроризмом, а так же экономическая и экологическая деятельности. Все 57 государств–участников имеют равный статус, и решения принимаются на основе консенсуса.

The OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe in cooperation with the OSCE Programme Office in Bishkek are pleased to announce a call for applications for the Central Asia & Turkiye Youth Talks to be held on 11-18 August 2025 in Istanbul, Turkiye.

The Central Asia & Turkiye Youth Talks is an exchange and learning event that brings together young people from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkiye, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan. The event will provide a discussion platform for young people to share their views, ideas, and achievements and foster mutual learning and development in their communities.

🗣️ What to Expect:

This week-long forum will provide a vibrant platform for youth to:

• Share views, ideas, and community achievements
• Engage in regional and global discussions
• Build capacity in key areas such as: financial literacy; anti-money laundering and anti-corruption in the digital space; accelerating gender equality

We invite applications from individuals who are:

• Aged 18–25 and from Central Asia and Turkiye
• Actively engaged in community or regional cooperation initiatives
• Experienced or passionate about the event’s focus areas

This year, we have marked International Youth Day by launching the Central Asia and Türkiye Youth Talks event! Held on 12-16 August 2024 and organized by the World Bank Group and OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe with the support of the OSCE Programme Office in Bishkek, the Youth Talks event has provided a platform for dialogue, exchange of expertise, and development of joint projects for young leaders and professionals from Central Asian 🇹🇯🇰🇿🇰🇬🇺🇿🇹🇲 countries and Türkiye 🇹🇷. Participants had a chance to discuss pressing issues related to gender equality, digitalization, and social entrepreneurship with officials from the World Bank, OSCE, and entrepreneurs from Central Asia and Türkiye. The event also featured a special session on leadership in political participation, conducted by Senator Farah Karimi, the OSCE PA Special Representative on Central Asia.

The OSCE Secretariat is organizing two events in Tbilisi for young people from Central Asia and the South Caucasus: an OSCE School, followed by a Model OSCE Conference. Through these two events, the OSCE wants to promote cross-regional exchanges and build professional skills of the next generation of peace
practitioners.

▪ The OSCE School, from 15 to 17 July 2024, will include a series of briefings and interactive workshops to learn about the comprehensive approach of the OSCE across the three dimensions
of security, as well as open discussions with practitioners and OSCE officials.

▪ The Model Conference, from 18 to 21 July 2024, focuses on acquiring mediation and negotiations skills, through participation in a simulation exercise of one of the OSCE decision-making process.

The World Bank and the OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe are pleased to announce a call for applications for the Central Asia Youth Talks to be held December 18-22, 2023 in Istanbul, Turkiye.

The Central Asia Youth Talks is an exchange and learning event that will convene 25 young people from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan. The event will provide a regional discussion platform for young activists to share their views, ideas, and achievements and foster mutual learning and development in their communities.

The participants of the event will discuss topics of regional significance in Central Asia, such as climate change mitigation; water-energy nexus; building human capital and jobs of the future; integrating gender in development work, as well as strengthening the youth dialogue and development of networking platforms for the future development of the region.

Profile of participants:

We look forward to your application if you are:
•18-25 years old and are from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan;
•an active and engaged member of your community and have an interest in Central Asian (youth) regional co-operation;
•have experience or can prove high level of interest in the areas of climate change, jobs of the future and gender development;
•are an active and engaged member of your local communities and have interest in promoting youth regional co-operation within Central Asia;
•fluent in English and Russian;
•eager to share your experience in promoting the role of young people at different levels and learn from others.

The OSCE is pleased to announce a call for applications for Central Asian youth to participate in the Youth Solution Days (Oct 30 – Nov 1) of the International Vienna Energy and Climate Forum (2-3 Nov).

Supported by UNIDO, SEforALL, the Vienna University of Economics and Business, the City of Vienna, and the OSCE, the Youth Solution Days aim to mobilize the power of young people to use innovative technologies and drive the energy transition forward by building their skills and competences. Throughout the forum, the participants will be able to attend and contribute to the lectures, workshops, panel discussions and site visits. OSCE sponsorship includes flights, transport, and accommodation for the period from October 30, 2023 to November 3, 2023.
