Attending physicians in Maritime Medicine participated in the "3rd Meeting of 2026 on the Revision of the Thai Qualifications Framework for Higher Education (TQF 1) in Preventive Medicine (Maritime Medicine Specialty).

The meeting was presided over by Captain Pichet Krivichian, Chairman of the Medical Residency Training and Examination Committee in Preventive Medicine (Maritime Medicine).

และแน่นอนว่ากองทัพต้องเดินด้วยท้อง! 😋🌶️ มื้อเที่ยง อาจารย์เลยจัดหนักพาไปเติมพลังร้านส้มตำไก่ทอดให้หายเหนื่อยกันไปเลย บรรยากาศอบอุ่นและเป็นกันเองสุดๆ

ขอบคุณน้องๆ ทุกคนที่ตั้งใจเรียนรู้ตลอดทั้งสัปดาห์นี้นะครับ ขอให้นำความรู้ที่ได้ไปต่อยอดดูแลผู้ป่วยอย่างมั่นใจ หวังว่าจะได้ทำงานร่วมกันในอนาคตนะ! 💙✨

Wrapping up another wonderful week with our Intern Doctors during their clinical rotation at the Division of Maritime Medicine, Somdech Phra Pinklao Hospital (Aug 10–14, 2026)! ⚓️🩺✨

Throughout the week, our interns jumped into the world of Maritime Medicine, Underwater Medicine, and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT), gaining valuable hands-on insights, practical knowledge, and fresh experiences. 📚🌊

And of course, good learning goes hand in hand with good food! 😋🌶️ To recharge after a hard day's work, the faculty took the team out for a hearty lunch of fried chicken and spicy papaya salad—filling up in a super warm and friendly atmosphere.

Thank you to all our interns for your dedication and enthusiasm throughout the week. We hope you take this knowledge forward to care for your patients with confidence, and we look forward to working together with you all in the future! 💙✨

Throughout the week, the team dove deep into the fascinating world of Maritime, Underwater, and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) medicine. From hands-on experience to essential clinical insights, they definitely made the most out of every single session! 📚🌊

Research Progress Monitoring Activity for Maritime Medicine Resident on the Study Titled: “Incidence and Associated Factors of Middle Ear Barotrauma in Patients Receiving Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy.”

This activity was organized to evaluate research progress and provide academic guidance to the resident. Furthermore, it served as a collaborative platform for exchanging research ideas and methodologies among residents across different training years, interdisciplinary specialties, and faculty members—ensuring that research development aligns with the highest academic standards and research ethics protocols

อาจารย์แพทย์ และแพทย์ประจำบ้านเวชศาสตร์ทางทะเล เข้าร่วมงานวันวิจัย "Pinklao Research Day 2026" ซึ่งจัดขึ้นโดยสำนักงานส่งเสริมวิจัย โรงพยาบาลสมเด็จพระปิ่นเกล้า กรมแพทย์ทหารเรือ

งานในครั้งนี้จัดขึ้นเพื่อเป็นเวทีกลางในการแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้ เผยแพร่นวัตกรรมทางการแพทย์ ตลอดจนขับเคลื่อนและต่อยอดผลงานวิจัยไปสู่การปฏิบัติจริงอย่างเป็นรูปธรรม เพื่อการดูแลรักษาผู้ป่วยอย่างยั่งยืน

นอกจากนี้ ภายในงานแพทย์ประจำบ้านเวชศาสตร์ทางทะเลยังคว้า รางวัลการนำเสนอผลงานวิจัย (ทั้งในรูปแบบ Oral และ Poster Presentations) จากหลากหลายหัวข้อวิจัยที่น่าสนใจ ซึ่งถือเป็นผลงานที่ช่วยสร้างแรงบันดาลใจและผลักดันให้แพทย์ประจำบ้านมุ่งมั่นพัฒนางานวิจัยที่มีคุณภาพมาตรฐาน โดยมีโรงพยาบาลพร้อมให้การสนับสนุนในทุกมิติ

Attending physicians and residents in Maritime Medicine participated in "Pinklao Research Day 2026," hosted by the Office of Research Promotion, Somdet Phra Pinklao Hospital, Naval Medical Department.

The event served as a collaborative platform to exchange academic knowledge, showcase medical innovations, and translate research findings into practical clinical applications for sustainable patient care.

Highlights of the event included Maritime Medicine residents receiving awards for both Oral and Poster Presentationsacross various research topics. These accomplishments inspire residents to continue developing high-quality research, fully backed and supported by the hospital.

การประชุมครั้งนี้จัดขึ้นเพื่อทบทวนแนวทางการรักษาที่เหมาะสมสำหรับภาวะแทรกซ้อนที่รักษาได้ยาก ซึ่งจะช่วยเสริมสร้างความรู้และทักษะให้แก่แพทย์ประจำบ้านอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ พร้อมทั้งส่งเสริมการทำงานร่วมกันระหว่างแพทย์สหสาขาวิชาชีพ เพื่อประโยชน์สูงสุดในการดูแลรักษาผู้ป่วย

Attending physicians, Maritime Medicine residents, and rotating interns participated in the monthly Interdepartment Conference for August 2026, themed “From Chemotherapy to the Chamber: An Adjunctive Role of Hyperbaric Oxygen in a Refractory Complication.”

The conference aimed to explore optimal management strategies for complex, refractory complications through the adjunctive use of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT). This academic session enhanced the clinical training of residents while fostering interdisciplinary collaboration among healthcare professionals for improved patient care.

The case was presented by Senee Leewiboonsilp, M.D., 3rd-year Maritime Medicine Resident, with Lieutenant Inkharat Saengungsumalee, RTN, Attending Physician in Maritime Medicine, serving as the faculty moderator.

อาจารย์แพทย์ประจำสถาบันฝึกอบรมแพทย์ประจำบ้านสาขาเวชศาสตร์ป้องกัน แขนงเวชศาสตร์ทางทะเล เข้าร่วมการอบรมเชิงปฏิบัติการในหัวข้อ “การเสริมสร้างศักยภาพการเป็นที่ปรึกษาวิจัย และการสร้างผลงานวิชาการที่มีคุณภาพ”

โดยได้รับเกียรติจาก ร้อยเอก ผศ.ดร.นพ.บุญทรัพย์ ศักดิ์บุญญารัตน์ อาจารย์ภาควิชาเวชศาสตร์ทหารและชุมชน วิทยาลัยแพทยศาสตร์พระมงกุฎเกล้า เป็นวิทยากรบรรยายถ่ายทอดเทคนิค ประสบการณ์ และแนวทางการเป็นที่ปรึกษาวิจัยอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ ตลอดจนแนวทางการผลักดันผลงานวิชาการให้ได้มาตรฐานและมีคุณภาพระดับสากล

ในการนี้ นาวาเอก ชลี บัวขำ รองผู้อำนวยการศูนย์แพทยศาสตรศึกษาชั้นคลินิก โรงพยาบาลสมเด็จพระปิ่นเกล้า ได้กรุณาให้เกียรติเป็นประธานกล่าวต้อนรับวิทยากรและผู้เข้าร่วมการอบรม

Attending faculty members of the Residency Training Program in Preventive Medicine (Maritime Medicine Specialty) participated in a workshop titled “Capacity Building for Research Mentorship and Quality Academic Publication.”

The workshop featured Captain Assist. Prof. Dr. Boonsub Sakboonyarat, M.D., Lecturer from the Department of Military and Community Medicine, Phramongkutklao College of Medicine, as the guest speaker. He shared insights, techniques, and practical guidelines on effective research mentorship, as well as strategies to elevate academic works to meet international publication standards.

On this occasion, Captain Chali Buakham, RTN, Deputy Director of the Clinical Medical Education Center, Somdet Phra Pinklao Hospital, kindly delivered the welcoming address to the speaker and attendees.
