Officer Refresher: expectation vs reality 👀

At Galileo, we keep things as real as possible. So no, this isn’t just sitting in a classroom looking at PowerPoints all day.

Our 3-day course covers four MCA-approved modules: Personal Survival Techniques, Fire Prevention and Firefighting, Advanced Firefighting, and Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats. Each module is hands-on and puts you into real-world scenarios.

⚓ Superyacht Deck Crew & Powerboat Instructors (Part-Time)

We're seeking experienced superyacht crew based in Thailand or regularly travelling through the region to deliver:

▪️ IYT Superyacht Deck Crew Courses
▪️ IYT Powerboat & RIB Master Courses
▪️ Practical seamanship and deck operations training

Ideal candidates will have:
✔️ Current or recent superyacht industry experience
✔️ Strong communication and teaching skills
✔️ Experience operating tenders, RIBs, and powerboats
✔️ Instructor experience preferred but not essential

⚓ Superyacht Captains & Yachtmaster Instructors (Part-Time)

We're looking for experienced superyacht captains to support delivery of:

▪️ Yachtmaster preparation courses
▪️ IYT Yachtmaster practical modules
▪️ OOW Navigation & Seamanship courses
▪️ Professional deck officer training

Ideal candidates will have:

We are seeking experienced Master Mariners with command experience to assist in:

▪️ OOW and professional maritime course development

Ideal candidates will have:
✔️ Unlimited Master Mariner certification
✔️ 1 year+ command experience

⚓ Chief Stewardess – Course Development Consultant (Remote/ Part-Time)

We're looking for an experienced Chief Stewardess to help develop and standardise our Interior Crew training programmes, including:

▪️ IAMI GUEST-aligned training content
▪️ Silver Service modules
▪️ Housekeeping and laundry procedures
▪️ Guest experience and luxury service standards

Ideal candidates will have:
✔️ Experience as Chief Stewardess on superyachts, with a minimum of 5+ years in the industry
✔️ Strong understanding of IAMI GUEST standards
✔️ Strong academic and instructional writing ability, with experience developing course content, presentations, assessments, and lesson plans
