🌏✨ Just finished another fun Thai class — this time via WeChat! Who says you need fancy tools to learn a new language?
Today’s student joined me from abroad using only her phone — and it worked perfectly!

We tried to communicate in Thai — with English and a little Chinese mixed in, we practiced tones, read words, and we made progress. 💬📚

Any of you are fond of paintings? 🎨
มีใครชื่นชอบภาพวาดกันบ้างไหมคะ❓️

I like paintings but I'm not into them that much.
ชั้นชอบ 👍ภาพวาดนะ แต่ก็ไม่อินมากเท่าไหร่❎️💯

But once I saw this oil painting, I couldn't help falling in love 💘 with it. It's hard to believe this is actually a painting and not ❌️️a photograph.

แต่พอได้เห็นภาพวาดสีน้ำมันภาพนี้ ก็อดที่จะตกหลุมรักไม่ได้ ไม่อยากจะเชื่อเลยว่าจริงๆ แล้วมันเป็นภาพวาด ✅️🖌ไม่ใช่ภาพถ่าย ❌️📸

Finally, I managed to record my first video for on-line lessons. As an old-school teacher, it's not that easy to learn new technology, and have to shift from on-site teaching to on-line teaching.

I wouldn't have made it, if I didn't join an on-line seminar held by Kru Nguan, the founder of Thai Kids Academy. This is my homework as a student. I still need to learn more and will always try to do it better next time.

If I can learn new things and could make it happen, you can also learn a new language. With me, learning the Thai language is easy!!! Let's get it.

Are you a fan of Mango Sticky Rice (ข้าวเหนียวมะม่วง)? After the 19-year old Thai rapper "Milli" performed at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival 2022 on Saturday 23 in California, now the Cultural Promotion Department is planning to propose that mango sticky rice is "an intrinsic part of Thai culture", to be included on the list of Thailand's UNESCO intangible cultural heritage.
