On June 2, a new AMI 3–6 course commenced in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, welcoming 48 scholarship students dedicated to advancing high-quality Montessori education in the region. 📚

The participants come from Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Malawi, and the Democratic Republic of Congo, with many working in rural or refugee communities. Each student has also received five foundational Montessori books. The training team includes AMI Trainers in Training from both Tanzania and Kenya, reflecting the course’s strong regional focus.

This initiative represents a unique collaboration between the Msimbazi Montessori Training Centre, Association Montessori Internationale (AMI), and the Montessori Community of Tanzania. It is made possible through the generous support of the Arthur Waser Foundation, along with additional contributions from the Black Montessori Education Fund. Together, these partners are working to expand access to Montessori education.
