Organix Asia is happy to offer a 7-days Permaculture Design Course from the 24th of February to the 2nd of March 2026.

This Permaculture retreat is a dive into practical application of Thai traditions and Permaculture techniques.

The curriculum is organized around 7 modules combining lectures, videos, hands-on and practical demonstrations, giving each participant an opportunity to learn at their own pace. Here are some of the topics you will learn:
• Ethics and principles of Permaculture
• Patterns, languages of nature: find your own pattern
• Soil regeneration - Tropical Plant Identification
• Food Forest: build your orchard for free
• Water management: harvesting and remediation
• Build your tropical nursery and kitchen garden
• Seed bank: harvesting and saving
• Composting: turn trash into treasure
• Tropical, Dry and Temperate climates...

And that’s not all ! You will also learn about a bit of:
• Biology, the study of living organisms;
• Ecology, the study of environments and organisms;
• Geology, the study of the Earth’s processes;
• Geography, the study of human interaction with the Earth
• Pedology, the study of soil;
• Hydrology, the study of water systems;
• Mycology, the study of fungi;
• Herbalism, the study of plant medicine;
• Vermiculture, the cultivation of earthworms;
• Aquaculture, the cultivation of fresh & saltwater species

The course is run by Jo Semo, who graduated from the Permaculture Institute in the field of education, design, site development, and community service.
Jo has done permaculture design work in a wide variety of landscapes and climates for the last 12 years in South America, North Africa, Europe, and Southeast Asia.

By the end of the retreat, you will have made valuable contacts with like-minded people from around the world and start your own journey as a Permaculture Ambassador !
