Art, Craft, & Cooking: Week #2
The kids learned art printing/stamping from the leaves. They also made delicious chocolate chips cookies, learned how to weave craft to make beautiful fish, and how to make easy but adorable string penguin puppets.

Science Experiment: Week #2
This week the kids learned more about the material worlds of chemical reactions. They experienced different reactions from different chemical mixtures, such as vinegar+baking soda, potassium permanganate+hydrogen peroxide, potassium permanganate+glucose+sodium hydroxide, methylene blue+glucose+potassium hydroxide, etc, and saw how they reacted to each others. They also learned and become aware of pH levels of the things around them.
Again: SAFETY IS OUR FIRST PRIORITY!

Fun for Kindergartens: Week #2
After the story, Jack and the beanstalk, the kids learned how to plant the bean seeds, watered, and watched the sprounts grew everyday. Each day of the week they learned different motor activities. They also built thier own little houses with different materials such as straws, sticks, and bricks according to the story The Three Little Pigs and The Wolf.

สูตรช้อกโกเลตชิพคุกกี้ (กรอบนอกนุ่มใน) ที่เราทำกันในคลาสศิลปะ งานประดิษฐ์และทำอาหารในสัปดาห์ที่ 2 ค่ะ

We did the delicious homemade chocolate chip cookies during week #2 of Art, Craft, and Cooking class. It was so good that a lot of parents and students asked me how to make the cookies. Here's how:

Ingredients

½ cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
½ cup packed light brown sugar
½ cup granulated sugar
1 large egg, at room temperature
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 ¼ cup all-purpose flour
1 Tbsp cornstarch
½ tsp baking soda ½ tsp salt
1 ½ cup chocolate chips

Directions:

1. Mix the butter with the brown sugar and granulated sugar together well. Beat in the egg and the vanilla.
2. In a separate bowl, mix the flour with the cornstarch, baking soda and salt. Add this to the butter mixture and stir until blended. Stir in the chocolate chips.
3. Using a small ice cream scoop or a tablespoon, scoop spoonful of dough (about 2 Tbsp). Shape them into a ball and place onto a parchment lined baking tray or a plate, leaving 3 inches between the cookies.
4. Preheat the oven to 160ºC. Bake for 15 minutes, until browned around the edges.
