็นคนดีของสังคม โดยทางสถาบันจะมีกิจกรรมเพพื่อสาธารณประโยชน์ให้นักเรียนเข้าร่วมตามความสมัครใจ และรายได้ส่วนหนึ่งจากค่าเทอมจะบริจาคสู่โครงการ Kiva ซึ่งเป็นองค์กรอิสระที่บริจาคเงินทุนให้เกษตรกรและประชาชนทั่วไปที่ขาดแคลนทุนทรัพย์ทั่วโลก ได้นำเงินไปลงทุนสร้างฐานะตนเอง
ที่สถาบันจีอีซี นักเรียนจะไดก้พบกับอาจารย์ชาวไทยและชาวต่างชาติสอนควบคู่กันในแต่ละคอร์ส เนื่องจากการเรียนไวยากรณ์ขั้นสูง จำเป็นต้องมีการอธิบายอย่างชัดเจน ทางเราจึงเน้นให้เรียนกับอาจารย์ไทยที่มีความเชี่ยวชาญพิเศษด้านภาษาอังกฤษ ส่วนด้านทักษะการสื่อสารนักเรียนจะได้เรียนกับเจ้าของภาษาชาวอเมริกันที่มีประสบการณ์การสอน และใช้ภาษาอังกฤษได้อย่างถูกต้องชัดเจนตามแบบฉบับเจ้าของภาษาจริงๆ
หากผู้เรียนต้องการเรียนกับเจ้าของภาษาเพื่อฝึกสนทนาโดยเฉพาะ ทางสถาบันก็ยังมีคอร์สพิเศษเพื่อตอบสนองความต้องการเช่นกัน ทั้งนี้หากลงเรียนในคอร์สปกติแล้วและอยากเรียนคอร์สพิเศษกับเจ้าของภาษาเพิ่ม นักเรียนจะได้รับส่วนลดจากราคาคอร์สพิเศษอีก 500 บาท

GEC is focused on giving back and donates a portion of the tuition fees, combined with private funds, to benefit the international non-profit group Kiva.org. Kiva allows each class of GEC students to make small loans to entrepreneurs in countries all over the world. This gives the students a global perspective that reaches far beyond the classroom and introduces them to a truly interconnected world. GEC also supports various charities and events in the local Suphanburi area, as we also recognize that help and support is vital for our own communities to grow and prosper. Teaching Philosophy
Our aim at GEC is to provide the best possible learning environment for the students. We offer various schedules and times for a given course to ensure that students will be able to find a GEC course that fits into their busy schedule. GEC’s course and teaching structure combines the best of both worlds. Students are able to learn grammar with a native Thai speaker who is fluent in English and then learn conversation, speaking and listening with a native English speaker who is conversational in Thai. This allows for classroom conversations to always be engaging, as there will not be any confusion in translating or understanding the material. Teaching in this way helps to utilize each teacher’s strengths thereby creating a more effective learning environment for the students. GEC is looking to produce the best English students in Suphanburi and we are dedicated to making that happen. Course Overview
GEC teaches clear, standard, North American English using a variety of educational materials including American textbooks, videos, music and internet software such as Skype. At GEC we realize that each student learns differently, therefore we use a mixture of educational resources to ensure that each student is able to learn in a way that’s best for them. The standard course at GEC is a 12-week program that runs concurrently with the school term. Courses will begin roughly 1-2 weeks after the school term starts and will end 1-2 weeks before the school term is finished. This allows students to prepare for their final exams at their regular schools. The standard course will meet twice per week, one weekday and one weekend day. Students will have one class with the Thai teacher and the other with the native English speaker. Each class will last 1.5 hours, for a total of 3 classroom hours per week. Therefore, each 12-week program consists of 36 classroom hours. GEC will also offer a one-day per week course on the weekend that will last 3 hours. This course covers the same material as the standard course and is geared towards out-of-town students and students who are busy during the school week. GEC recommends that students study in a standard course if possible, as it’s twice a week schedule creates a better learning environment for the students by reviewing the material more frequently. Students will be placed in a class depending on their grade (Matayom level) and their English ability. GEC students will progress through a series of 3-month courses each covering different topics, while also reinforcing topics they have learned in prior courses. At GEC it is essential that our students fully learn the information taught, therefore, if a student has not shown that they have grasped the material, they will not be allowed to move on to the next course level at GEC. Again, GEC is looking to teach only the most dedicated English students. Advanced conversation courses will also be offered at GEC and will be taught 100% by a native English speaker. These courses will have a maximum number of 8 students per class and will last 1.5 hours. They will run once per week for 12 weeks and will start at the same time as the standard courses. Students who want to study in both the standard and advanced conversation courses will be given a tuition discount. Short-term intensive programs will also be offered during the school vacation months. Students who want to join a course after the start date will be allowed to do so as long as there is enough room in the class. Their course tuition fee will be given at a prorated rate. Stop by to practice your English and watch a movie. Free food and drinks will be provided. Free English Lessons
GEC will hold free English lessons on a weekly basis. These lessons are intended for students who speak English at a very basic and elementary level. The goal is to give the students enough knowledge so that they will be able to join a GEC course in the future. Speaking Competitions
English speaking competitions will be held periodically throughout the school year with prizes being awarded.
