Last week, our EY4 learners welcomed special guest photography expert Ms. Olya Muradova for an engaging hands-on photography workshop.
During the session, learners explored:
📷 What photography is
💡 How photographers capture meaningful moments
🖼️ How images help preserve memories and friendships
This experience supports learners as they begin documenting their final quarter in EY4 and creating a beautiful memory book celebrating their friendships and experiences at VERSO.
One learner, Akin, excitedly shared: "It was so fun! When I am taking photos, don’t take them in the dark! These photos are memories of when I play with my friends together."
It was wonderful to see learners thoughtfully capturing moments that matter to them — a beautiful reminder that photographs can help us hold onto special memories for years to come.

The fairways of the Kabinburi Sport Club witnessed a masterful performance last month as Sihyun, G6, emerged victorious at the Bangchak Masters 2026 (Tournament #2).
Across two days of intense competition Sihyun displayed incredible composure and technical precision in Prachinburi. Despite the pressures of a high-stakes field, a consistent short game and clinical putting paved the way to the top of the leaderboard.
Congratulations to Sihyun on a spectacular win!

Dr. Komes Chandavimol from the Kasikorn Business Technology Group (KBTG) visited C1–2 to speak about AI literacy and financial literacy. He explained how AI becomes “smart” by reading and processing large amounts of information, encouraging learners to grow their own knowledge in the same way through reading and learning.
He also highlighted the importance of thinking critically when using AI, reminding learners that it can sometimes make mistakes and needs to be checked carefully.
Looking ahead, Dr. Komes spoke about planning for the future and protecting our happiness. He introduced saving as one way to support this, not only financially but emotionally. Learners explored the idea that collecting happy memories can help support wellbeing during challenging times. This was a meaningful and inspiring experience forour learners.

Our G3 learners have started their journey into Self Directed Badges.
Each learner chose an area of personal interest such as coding, digital art, 3D design or laser cutting and began working independently, taking real ownership of their learning. Using a structured journal in "Book Creator from Kami", they explored content through videos, practised new skills and documented their progress along the way.
It’s been great to see the level of engagement and responsibility that comes when learners are given the space to follow their curiosity and learn at their own pace.
Thank you to our Learning Designer Jose O’Donovan for supporting our learners!

Following the City of Tomorrow project in Q3 Learning Lab, our C7-8 learners are evolving their fictional cities into full nations in "Rise of the New Nations" for Q4. Stepping into diplomat roles, they're tackling UN-inspired debates on real challenges like scarce resources and tough trade-offs.
The room is buzzing with energy as they build on ideas, challenge respectfully, and communicate clearly - not just to win, but to listen, adapt, and collaborate.
This builds speaking confidence, critical thinking, and multi-perspective views, while showing the impact of collective decisions. We're excited for their international summit finale, fully supported by Learning Designers and Assistants!

Today marks Songkran, the Thai New Year, a time for families and friends to honor elders, visit temples for prayers and offerings, and welcome good luck & prosperity.
Last week, we kicked off the celebrations on our campus with a morning merit-making, the "Rod Nam Dum Hua" ceremony, where our young ones poured scented water over elders' hands in gratitude. We followed with vibrant Thai dances, temple fair games, yummy treats, and a refreshing water play! 💦
Big thanks to our amazing parents for joining in. Wishing everyone a splashing Songkran filled with joy!
