Become Easter Engineers with Class D&E
Drama& Public Speaking:
Class D:
Students focused on conceptualizing a product by brainstorming ideas and refining their brand identity through the creation of a brand name, logo, and slogan. Discussions highlighted the importance of clear messaging and audience appeal. This process supported their creativity and helped prepare them for future public speaking tasks, particularly in delivering structured and engaging product presentations.
Class E:
Students worked on developing their product concepts, brand names, logos, and slogans. In addition, they created an outline for a commercial they will perform, organizing their ideas into a clear sequence. This activity strengthened their planning, storytelling, and persuasive communication skills, preparing them to confidently present and perform their advertisements in front of the class.
FUNdamental English:
We played a conversation guessing game of how is yours “the students had to describe items they possessed, and others had to keep guessing till they landed on the answer”. This game helps the students make practical use of the descriptive vocabulary they have picked along the way. We then discussed the easter holiday and followed a tutorial to draw an easter bunny surprise.
STEAM:
Class DE dove deep into flight research to see if bigger wings really lead to longer flights. The students used rulers to get precise measurements and applied geometry formulas to calculate the exact area of their wings. By mapping out the math behind their designs, they were able to look for a real correlation between the size of the wing and the distance the plane traveled. They moved beyond just folding paper and started investigating like real aeronautical engineers. 👷 👷♀️ ✈️:
PE:
All the students did well and listened to the teacher. There were only a few students, so we decided to have an open gym where the students can pick which sports they would like to practice. Which were basketball and volleyball.
DE-(ICT)The students were well-behaved and interactive with the lesson. We started class with a typing club.com and the students started with a Typing lesson for grade 3 that introduces all letter keys, punctuation marks, and offers significant typing practice with standards-aligned content. The final activity was free time, where the students picked a game mode from these websites: ABCya!, BBC Bitesize, and PBS KIDS.The students were well-behaved and interactive with the lesson.

This activity encouraged creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration, while also introducing basic persuasive speaking skills needed to present their ideas effectively.
FUNdamental English:
For our class today we read the story how to catch an Easter bunny. After this the students then answered a few comprehension questions. STEAM:
Our C class took on the Egg Basket Challenge today. Armed with just a few sheets of paper, students had to design a structure strong enough to support a heavy load of eggs. It was a fantastic lesson in structural integrity as they experimented with different folds and base supports to see whose basket could handle the most weight without buckling.
