Ma’am Incarnacion Lacson, my Grade 3 teacher and adviser, was the first to spark my love for Mathematics. I was surprised to receive the Best in Mathematics award during our recognition ceremony, and from that moment on, Math became my favorite subject.
My passion for the subject grew even stronger because of my high school teachers, Ma’am Noime Leonida, Sir Roger Muyco, and Ma’am Gerlyn Weaver. Then, when I reached university, Prof. Sanchez recognized me once again.
Looking back, I realize that teachers make a difference in ways they may never fully know. They shape lives, inspire dreams, and influence students like me more than they can imagine. That is why I strive to do the same for my own students today.
