Sangkhom Islam Wittaya School ( The Knowledge of Islamic Community School) was established by Tokguru Zakariya Kayem, since 1972, after he graduated from Makkah, Saudi Arabia. During that time the school taught only Islamic knowledge and people known as Pondok Banloom ( The institution of Islamic school that located in the lower village)
The school that normally known as “Pondok Banloom”, The large size of private Islamic School in Thailand, aims to develop students to be readiness for qualified citizen, live together with other faiths in the multicultural community following the intention of Tokguru Zakariya Kayem, the school founder since 1972, our beloved teacher, who spends his whole life follow Quran & Sunnah and teaching Islam. The school is operating under the Office of the Private Education Commission of Songkhla, Thailand Ministry of Education.
- In 1991, Uztaz Phaisan Kayem operated learning center as a non-formal education center that the students could learn common knowledge parallel with Islamic knowledge. the center named Phatthana Tham School, Providing education services at the lower secondary and upper secondary levels.
- In 1998, the Pondok received the private Islamic school licensee for Sangkhom Islam Wittaya School from Saba Yoi District, The new administrator team, Dr. Abdulrahman Kayem, was appointed as the school manager and Dr. Taleb Kayem, was appointed as the head teacher, in the first academic year there were 120 students enrolled.
- In 2004, the school transferred the license to the Darun Na-Em for Education Foundation, which Dr. Taleb Kayem, as the licensee and the school director. Then has expanded the curriculum in all phases, from early childhood, elementary, secondary education and high school
- In 2024 is the 58th year of Islamic educational management. Currently classified as Large private Islamic school with an area of 21 Rai, 10 academic buildings and assembly buildings with a total of 1,983 students, a total of 140 Thai teachers and staff and 9 Foreign teachers. Sangkhom Islam Wittaya School has continuously improved the readiness of infrastructure such as buildings, places, courses, and teaching management systems to become the leading schools of the Islamic Private Schools in Songkhla. The school has collaborated with other educational institutions at the basic education level and Universities both at nationwide and abroad, in order to create the quality of learners and school development, that are accepted both domestically and internationally level.......................

ประวัติโรงเรียน
โรงเรียนสังคมอิสลามวิทยาเป็นโรงเรียนเอกชนสอนศาสนาอิสลามขนาดใหญ่ สังกัดสํานักงานคณะกรรมการการศึกษาเอกชน ตั้งอยู่เลขที่ 43/2 หมู่ 1 ต.สํานักแต้ว อ.สะเดา จ.สงขลา
- ก่อตั้งโดยบาบอซักการียา กาเหย็ม เมื่อปีพ.ศ. 2515 (เกือบ 50 ปีก่อน) ในอดีตที่ผ่านมา เป็นสถาบันปอเนาะ เรียกกันทั่วไปว่า “ปอเนาะบ้านลุ่ม” มีการจัดการเรียนการสอนภาควิชาศาสนาเพียงอย่างเดียว มีนักเรียนเพียงไม่กี่คนในช่วงก่อตั้ง แต่ได้รับความนิยมอย่างมากหลังจากปีที่ 20 เคยมีนักเรียนจํานวนมากที่สุดถึง 500 คน
- ปี พ.ศ. 2534 อ.ไพศาล กาเหย็ม เป็นผู้ริเริ่มเปิด ศูนย์การศึกษานอกโรงเรียนขึ้น บาบาซักการียา กาเหย็มได้ตั้งชื่อศูนย์ว่า ศูนย์ พัฒนธรรมศึกษา ชื่อมาจากภาษาอาหรับ النهضة الدينية ให้บริการการศึกษานอกโรงเรียนในระดับมัธยมศึกษาตอนต้นและตอนปลาย และเป็นต้นแบบของการเปิดศูนย์ กศน. ในต่างประเทศ โดย อ.ไพศาล กาเหย็ม ได้นำแนวคิดดังกล่าวไปเปิดศูนย์ กศน. แห่งกรุงไคโร ประเทศอิยิปต์ ซึ่งเป็นศูนย์ กศน. แห่งเเรกที่เกิดขึ้นในต่างประเทศ
- ปี พ.ศ. 2541 ทางปอเนาะได้รับมอบกิจการโรงเรียนสังคมอิสลามวิทยา จากอําเภอสะบ้าย้อย คณะผู้บริหารชุดใหม่ ได้มีมติให้ ย้ายกิจการโรงเรียนสังคมอิสลามวิทยา จากอําเภอสะบ้าย้อยมาตั้งที่ปอเนาะบ้านลุ่มแห่งนี้ โดยมี ดร. อับดลรอหมาน กาเหย็ม เป็นผู้จัดการโรงเรียน และ มี ดร.ตะเหล็บ กาเหย็ม เป็นครูใหญ่ โดยเปิดสอนในระดับชั้นมัธยมศึกษาตอนต้น มีนักเรียนจํานวน 120 คน
- ปีพ.ศ. 2547 โรงเรียนได้โอนกิจการดำเนิงานภายใต้มูลนิธิเพื่อการศึกษาดารุนนาอีม โดยมี ดร.ตะเหล็บ กาเหย็ม เป็นผู้รับใบอนุญาตและผู้อํานวยการโรงเรียน และได้ขยายหลักสูตรครบทุกช่วงชั้น ตั้งแต่ระดับปฐมวัย ประถมศึกษา มัธยมศึกษาตอนต้น และมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย
-ปีการศึกษา 2564 นับเป็นปีที่ 49 ของการจัดการเรียนการสอน ปัจจุบันได้รับการจัดประเภทเป็น โรงเรียนเอกชนสอนศาสนาอิสลามขนาดใหญ่ โดยมีนักเรียนทั้งสิ้น 1,983 คน
