🎉 Big congratulations to Ooi Yong, Cheah & Lim Cheng from Singapore on officially joining the world of scuba diving after completing their PADI Open Water Diver course with Instructor Bobb & the Aussie Divers Phuket team! 🤿🌊

Not even the moody Phuket skies could dampen the excitement as these three legends powered through pool sessions, dive theory, and open water dives to earn their certifications.

From those first underwater breaths to cruising home with certificates in hand, it’s been an awesome few days of learning, adventure, and plenty of laughs along the way.

A huge well done from all of us at Aussie Divers Phuket. The hardest part is over... now comes the fun bit, spending the rest of your lives planning dive trips instead of normal holidays 😏🐠✈️

🌊👏 The newest diver in the family has officially earned his fins!

A massive congratulations to Tex on completing his PADI Junior Open Water Diver course with Au and the Aussie Divers Phuket team. 🤿🐠

What makes this one extra special is that Tex isn’t the first diver in the family... he’s now officially joined a crew of certified divers who have been visiting and diving with Aussie Divers family for a couple of years. Safe to say family holidays just got a whole lot more exciting!

From learning the fundamentals to taking those first real underwater adventures, Tex showed great determination, a willingness to learn, and plenty of enthusiasm throughout the course. The ocean can be a pretty big place when you're starting out, but he took it all in his stride.

A huge thank you to his family for continuing to trust us with their diving adventures over the years. Seeing the next generation get certified and share the underwater world together is something pretty special.

The family dive team is now one diver stronger... and we suspect Tex might soon be the one leading the charge when it's time to plan the next dive trip! 😎🌴

Day 1 of Scuba Show 2026 is officially done and dusted! 🌊🤿

It’s been a busy one for Darren and the Aussie Divers Phuket crew, catching up with old friends, meeting future dive buddies, talking all things Phuket diving, and sharing a few stories from life beneath the surface.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by Stand 332 today. The support, conversations, and enthusiasm for diving have been absolutely fantastic.

If you missed us today, don’t worry, we’ll be back at the Long Beach Convention Center tomorrow for Day 2, ready for another big day of diving, travel plans, course chats, and a few Aussie accents thrown in for good measure 🇦🇺😎

🌊👏 Triple PADI certification's, no mucking about!

A big congratulations to Wu Yuqi & Jiayi on smashing out not one, not two, but three PADI certifications with the Aussie Divers Phuket crew this week:

✅ PADI Open Water Diver
✅ PADI Advanced Open Water Diver
✅ PADI Enriched Air (Nitrox) Diver

What started as learning the basics quickly turned into a full-on diving adventure, with both divers building skills, confidence, and plenty of underwater experience along the way. From those first breaths underwater to deeper dives, navigation challenges, and extending bottom times with Nitrox, they tackled every challenge thrown at them with great attitudes and plenty of determination.

A massive shoutout to PADI Instructor Zoe for guiding them through the journey and helping turn two new divers into capable, confident underwater explorers. 🤿

Now comes the dangerous part... checking dive schedules instead of work schedules and planning the next dive trip before you've even unpacked your gear. 😎

Well done Wu Yuqi & Jiayi, the underwater world just got two more certified bubble-makers! 🐠🌴💙

Taking on the PADI Rescue course is a proper leap in your diving ability & self confidence🤿💪

Big congratulations to returning customer Sami on completing her PADI Rescue Diver course with PADI Instructor Guy and the Aussie Divers team earlier this week 👏🌊

Rescue Diver is often the course where divers really level up, moving beyond just looking after themselves and learning how to prevent problems, assist others, and stay calm when things don’t quite go to plan 💪

From serious rescue scenarios to plenty of laughs along the way (usually at the expense of the “victim” 😅), Sami absolutely smashed it and showed fantastic confidence and attitude throughout the course.

Always awesome seeing divers come back and continue their journey with us, and this is a big achievement to add to the logbook 👌

Huge well done Sami… although fair warning, this is usually the point where people start saying: “Maybe Divemaster next?” 👀🤿

The Three Wise Men of Chalong Pier… 😏🤿

After a full day of diving, guiding, teaching, gear hauling, tank lifting, and answering the age-old question of “what fish was that?” at least 47 times…

PADI Instructors Au, Bobb & Moody were spotted boarding the legendary Pink Bus back from Chalong Pier 🩷🚌

Some say they were discussing decompression theory.
Others claim it was where to get the best post-dive beers in Phuket 🍻

Either way, the council of dive wisdom appeared united:
✔️ Don’t skip your safety stop
✔️ Always check your air
✔️ Never trust someone who says “just one beer” after diving 🍻😂

After completing their PADI Open Water course just the day before, Wai Shing and Yu Guan from Hong Kong have now officially completed their PADI Advanced Open Water course with PADI Instructor Bobb 🌊🤿

At this point we’re starting to think they looked at the course list and simply said:
“Yes.” 😂

From first dives underwater to deep dives, navigation, and building confidence in real Phuket conditions, these two absolutely powered through the next level like seasoned pros 💪

Huge congratulations again to Wai Shing & Yu Guan, and a big shoutout to Bobb for guiding the boys through back-to-back certifications and helping turn new divers into seriously capable ones 👌

Careful lads… this is usually the point where people start talking about Nitrox, Rescue Diver, and “maybe Divemaster one day” 👀🐠

This crew didn’t waste any time leveling up 😎🤿

Three new divers officially certified and ready to explore the underwater world… although for Wai Shing and Yu Guan, apparently one certification just wasn’t enough 😅

These legends rolled straight into their PADI Advanced Open Water course the very next day, because once you start blowing bubbles in Phuket, it’s pretty hard to stop 🤿💨

Awesome effort from the whole crew, and a big shoutout to Bobb for guiding the team from first breaths underwater to confident certified divers.
