Exciting Milestone for Digital Sports in Southeast Asia Happening Tomorrow!

♟️💻We are thrilled to share that Thailand is officially hosting the ASEAN E-Sports Chess Cup 2026 this week! Organized with support from the Thailand Chess Association and government digital innovation initiatives, this event highlights the fantastic convergence of classical strategy and modern esports.

When: Saturday, June 13, 2026 (Registration opens at 8:30 AM)

Where: Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok

The Lineup: 11 elite Southeast Asian players will test their skills alongside legendary international invitees, including Magnus Carlsen (Norway), Fabiano Caruana (USA), and Vietnam's top Grandmaster Le Quang Liem.

Local Representation: 5 local players

We are incredibly proud to announce that two of our very own from the JCA Chess School, FM Jirapak Pitirotjirathon and Phuwin Louwakul (Pup), have been selected among the 5 local players to represent Thailand in this prestigious event!

Having our local mentors and rising talents test their skills on the same stage as world champions is an incredible honor for our community.

For locals and travelers in Bangkok, the event is open to the public.

It is a wonderful, friendly environment to experience world-class chess, enjoy the official fan meet-and-greets, and support the growth of youth sports and technology in the region.

Check out the incredible scale of the 77th National Schools Individual (NSI) Chess Championships 2026 in Singapore! With a record-breaking 1,897 players from 270 schools taking over the OCBC Arena, the Singapore Chess Federation couldn't even fit everyone in one shot! ♟️💥
At JCA Chess School, we are watching closely. This level of participation and passion for scholastic chess is exactly what we dream of for Thailand.
