Have you ever seen this bizarre fern? This strange wonderful terrestrial fern is probably be Heterogonium species said to be from New Guinea. Fairly compact and rather a slow grower. We currently have starter plants (sporelling) available!

Syngramma, a compact and humid loving genus of lithophytic ferns, is the one rarely seen in cultivation. Shown here is Syngramma lobbiana from Bako, Sarawak, characterized by lancelate and leathery fronds with unique ornamental watermarks or scrolled calligraphy on the surface.

We are working on this magnificent genus after testing and found they are well acclimated to various terrrarium conditions. Never invasive nor rampant, and of course, not overwhelmed limited growing space.

Season of the Australian Maidenhairs is coming! with several cultivars cloned from parent plants imported directly from Australian nurseries in Queensland.

Despite being Adiantum tenerum, these Australian varieties have proven they are well acclimated to cooler conditions much better than others. They are also large growers and can be exquisite specimens when well cared.
