Building a Better BCIS Experience

At BCIS International School of Phuket, we are always looking for ways to enhance the learning environment for our students. Throughout the summer break, exciting improvement projects have been taking place across our campus as we continue investing in spaces that support learning, wellbeing, and student life.

These developments are designed to create an even better experience for our entire school community, with new facilities including a pool shade, covered pathway, greenhouse, and indoor golf area. Each addition reflects our ongoing commitment to providing safe, engaging, and inspiring spaces where students can learn, grow, and thrive every day.

# Améliorer l’expérience BCIS

À la BCIS International School of Phuket, nous cherchons constamment à améliorer l’environnement d’apprentissage de nos élèves. Tout au long des vacances d’été, plusieurs projets d’amélioration ont été réalisés sur notre campus afin de créer des espaces encore plus propices à l’apprentissage, au bien-être et à la vie étudiante.

We're proud to celebrate two BCIS students recognised with the Outstanding International School Student Award 2026 by the Office of the Private Education Commission (OPEC): Alexander (Public Mind / Volunteering) and Ralph (Arts, Culture, and Music).

This national award celebrates their dedication and positive impact both in and beyond our school community. The ceremony was held at the Kurusapha Auditorium, Ministry of Education, on Tuesday, 4 August 2026.

Every journey starts with a single step. Aleksandra's is one we're incredibly proud to celebrate.

When Aleksandra joined BCIS International School Phuket three years ago, learning English was one of the biggest challenges she faced. Through the dedication, patience and personalised support of our English as an Additional Language (EAL) teachers, she has grown into a confident communicator both inside and outside the classroom.

Our EAL programme is designed to help students develop their English skills at their own pace, ensuring they feel supported, encouraged and empowered every step of the way. Celui d’Aleksandra est un parcours que nous sommes incroyablement fiers de célébrer.

Lorsque Aleksandra a rejoint BCIS International School Phuket il y a trois ans, apprendre l’anglais représentait l’un de ses plus grands défis. Grâce au dévouement, à la patience et à l’accompagnement personnalisé de nos enseignants d’anglais langue additionnelle (EAL), elle est devenue une communicante sûre d’elle, aussi bien en classe qu’en dehors.

Notre programme EAL est conçu pour permettre à chaque élève de développer ses compétences en anglais à son propre rythme, tout en se sentant soutenu, encouragé et valorisé à chaque étape de son parcours. Every week at BCIS Holiday Camp ends with an unforgettable adventure into the world of animals.

Through our weekly Animal Workshop, children meet and interact with a variety of animals under the guidance of professional animal handlers in a safe, supervised environment. These hands-on experiences help build confidence, compassion, and a deeper understanding of the natural world.

Beyond campus, our exciting field trips to local animal sanctuaries give children the opportunity to observe animals in their environments while learning about their behaviour, habitats, welfare, and the importance of responsible care and conservation.

At BCIS, learning goes far beyond the classroom, creating meaningful experiences that inspire curiosity, empathy, and respect for all living things.

Chaque semaine, au camp de vacances BCIS, se termine par une aventure inoubliable dans l’univers des animaux.

Grâce à notre atelier hebdomadaire consacré aux animaux, les enfants rencontrent et interagissent avec divers animaux sous la supervision de soigneurs professionnels, dans un environnement sûr et encadré. En dehors du campus, nos passionnantes sorties pédagogiques dans des refuges animaliers locaux offrent aux enfants l’occasion d’observer les animaux dans leur milieu naturel tout en découvrant leur comportement, leurs habitats, leur bien-être, ainsi que l’importance d’une prise en charge responsable et de la préservation de l’environnement.
