Six days, seven teams, one unforgettable journey.

Our students took on real challenges as they completed their Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Journey and IGCSE PE coursework. From steep climbs to intense heat, they learned to support each other, adapt, and keep going even when it was tough.

Beyond the physical challenge, this experience-built confidence, resilience, and strong teamwork. Moments of struggle turned into moments of growth, and every student walked away stronger than when they started.

Six jours, sept équipes, un périple inoubliable.

Nos élèves ont relevé de véritables défis tout en menant à bien leur parcours « Bronze » du programme Duke of Edinburgh et leur projet d'éducation physique dans le cadre de l'IGCSE. Entre ascensions escarpées et chaleur intense, ils ont appris à se soutenir mutuellement, à s'adapter et à persévérer même dans les moments difficiles.

Au-delà du défi physique, cette expérience a permis de renforcer leur confiance en eux, leur résilience et leur esprit d'équipe. Les moments de difficulté se sont transformés en occasions de grandir, et chaque élève en est ressorti plus fort qu'au début.

In our Year 7 EAL Science class at BCIS International School of Phuket, multilingualism is not just accepted, it is celebrated. Our BCIS badminton team delivered an outstanding performance at the AEFE CAPB 2026 Badminton Competition in Shanghai (23–27 March 2026).

Led by Head Coach Tarun Sharma and supported by Miss Fatima, our athletes demonstrated exceptional skill, teamwork, and resilience throughout the tournament. In a remarkable achievement, every participating player returned home with a medal.

Highlights include a Silver medal in the U19 Mixed Team event, along with multiple Bronze and Silver finishes across U13, U15, and U19 categories. Special congratulations to Stella for securing Silver in U19 Girls, and Celestine for Bronze in U13 Girls.

Beyond competition, students also experienced meaningful cultural exchange and team bonding, making this a truly memorable international event.

Notre équipe de badminton du BCIS a réalisé une performance exceptionnelle lors du tournoi de badminton AEFE CAPB 2026 à Shanghai (du 23 au 27 mars 2026).

Sous la houlette de l'entraîneur principal Tarun Sharma et avec le soutien de Mlle Fatima, nos athlètes ont fait preuve d'un talent, d'un esprit d'équipe et d'une résilience exceptionnels tout au long du tournoi. Fait remarquable, tous les joueurs participants sont rentrés chez eux avec une médaille.

Parmi les moments forts, citons une médaille d'argent dans l'épreuve par équipes mixtes U19, ainsi que plusieurs médailles de bronze et d'argent dans les catégories U13, U15 et U19. Félicitations tout particulièrement à Stella pour sa médaille d'argent chez les filles U19, et à Celestine pour sa médaille de bronze chez les filles U13.

Au-delà de la compétition, les élèves ont également vécu un échange culturel enrichissant et renforcé les liens au sein de leur équipe, faisant de cet événement international un moment véritablement mémorable.

Célébration du Songkran à la BCIS

Notre communauté de la BCIS s'est réunie pour célébrer le Songkran, mettant à l'honneur la beauté de la culture thaïlandaise à travers les traditions, la joie et des moments partagés.

Les élèves ont pris part à des activités enrichissantes, qui leur ont permis de découvrir l'importance du respect, de la gratitude et des nouveaux départs. Des bénédictions par l'eau aux moments culturels, la journée a été marquée par des sourires, des rires et un véritable esprit communautaire.

From 23–28 March 2026, BCIS students from Year 4 to Year 12 represented the school at the International French School of Singapore, competing alongside AEFE schools from across South-East Asia.

Our team showed great determination and teamwork, achieving an impressive 5th place overall out of 14 schools.

Congratulations to our medal winners Grigorii, Andrei, and Artemii, and to our relay team Andrii, Anna, Iaroslava, and Grigorii for finishing 4th.

Du 23 au 28 mars 2026, des élèves de la BCIS, de la 4e à la 12e année, ont représenté l'école à l'École française internationale de Singapour, où ils ont concouru aux côtés d'écoles de l'AEFE venues de toute l'Asie du Sud-Est.

Notre équipe a fait preuve d'une grande détermination et d'un excellent esprit d'équipe, décrochant une impressionnante 5e place au classement général sur 14 écoles.

Félicitations à nos médaillés Grigorii, Andrei et Artemii, ainsi qu'à notre équipe de relais composée d'Andrii, Anna, Iaroslava et Grigorii pour leur 4e place.

Une expérience fantastique alliant sport, épanouissement et échanges internationaux.

We are proud to celebrate Mario from Y6 Sky, who has successfully completed his Open Water Diving certification this March with Kids Dive Phuket, as part of a BCIS enrichment opportunity.

This incredible achievement highlights not only Mario’s courage and determination, but also his willingness to explore beyond the classroom and embrace new challenges. From learning essential diving skills to discovering the underwater world, this experience is one he will carry with him for life.
At BCIS, we believe in creating opportunities that inspire students to grow, explore, and step outside their comfort zones. Mario’s journey is a wonderful example of learning in action.

Nous sommes fiers de rendre hommage à Mario, élève de la classe Y6 Sky, qui a obtenu en mars dernier son brevet de plongée en milieu naturel avec Kids Dive Phuket, dans le cadre d’un programme d’enrichissement proposé par le BCIS.

Cette incroyable réussite met en lumière non seulement le courage et la détermination de Mario, mais aussi sa volonté d’explorer au-delà de la salle de classe et de relever de nouveaux défis. De l’apprentissage des techniques de base de la plongée à la découverte du monde sous-marin, cette expérience restera gravée dans sa mémoire pour toujours.

Our Year 12 students had the opportunity to explore their future pathways during a special visit from the University of Navarra and Le Cordon Bleu.

Through insightful presentations and discussions, students gained a deeper understanding of academic options in fields such as Culinary Arts, Hospitality

Management, and a wide range of university programmes. The sessions provided valuable guidance, helping students make informed decisions about their next steps beyond BCIS.

Experiences like these empower our students to think globally, plan confidently, and take meaningful steps towards their future.
