Our young engineers had a blast in Robotics Class using LEGO® SPIKE™ Essentials as they built and programmed a festive Christmas tree! 🌟

🎶 Vocabulary with a twist! ✏️
Our students had so much fun in today’s vocabulary activity — dancing around the room while the music played, then racing to the writing table to write the words when it stopped! A lively way to learn new words and practice spelling at the same time!

Lighthouse International School, Rawai is deeply saddened by the passing of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother, and joins the Thai people in mourning her demise. We pay tribute to all that she accomplished and her lasting legacy.
A powerful performance for a powerful day! 🌍🎶 Our little stars at Lighthouse Chalong Kindergarten celebrated International Culture Day by beautifully singing "We Are the World." So proud of our students embracing unity and harmony! ❤️
This week, we focused on earthquake readiness! 🤝 After discussing various natural and human disasters, our students practiced the life-saving steps: "Drop, Cover, and Hold On," followed by careful evacuation to a safe, open area outside. Preparedness is key to school safety! ⚠️
Baking Soda Rocket Experiment
🛠️ Materials Checklist:
• A small plastic bottle (the body of our rocket)
• A cork (to plug the bottle)
• Baking Soda
• Vinegar
• A small piece of paper or tissue (for wrapping the baking soda)
• A spoon
• Safety goggles
• Pencils (to make the fins or legs)
• Tape (to stick your fins and decorations on)
• Colored paper or markers (to decorate your rocket)
📝 The Procedure:
1. Decorate: Use the colored paper, pencils, and tape to decorate your bottle and turn it into an amazing rocket! (You can tape the pencils to the bottom of the bottle to act as fins or legs.)
2. Pour: Carefully pour about 2 cups of vinegar into the bottle.
3. Wrap: Put about 2 tablespoons of baking soda in the center of the small piece of paper/tissue and wrap it up tight.
4. Ready: Drop the wrapped baking soda into the bottle and quickly put the cork in tightly.
5. Launch! Stand back and wait for the gas to push the cork out!
