A huge congratulations to Khun, Year 8, on his fantastic achievement at the Hong Kong International Computational Olympiad (HKICO) 2025–2026 Final!

Khun was awarded a Silver Award in the Blockly category, competing against participants from 8 countries and regions around the world.

This wonderful achievement reflects his creativity, computational thinking, problem-solving skills and dedication. We are incredibly proud of Khun for representing KIS on the international stage!

A huge congratulations to Wansuk, Year 8, on his outstanding achievement in the International Mathematical Genius Olympiad (IMGO) 2026 – Thailand National Representatives Round!

Wansuk earned a Gold Medal in this highly competitive mathematics competition, which provides a pathway for talented Thai students to progress towards international-level competitions.

We are incredibly proud of Wansuk’s mathematical ability, dedication and determination. What a fantastic achievement!

🎓 Celebrating Our IGCSE Achievements 🎓

A huge congratulations to our current Year 12 students, who have now received all of their IGCSE results!

We are incredibly proud of every one of our students. These results represent years of dedication, hard work, resilience and commitment, supported along the way by their teachers and the school community.

Building strong academic foundations is one of our key aims at KIS, Phuket. We are committed to supporting our students in every possible way, helping them develop the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to make their IGCSE journey as smooth and successful as possible.

🏆🇹🇭 Congratulations to Dada on an outstanding international achievement!

We are incredibly proud to celebrate Dada’s remarkable success at The International Youth Dance Arts Festival of Cultural Exchange 2026 in Beijing, China, where she proudly represented Phuket and Thailand in the Modeling category.

Dada brought home an impressive three awards:

🥇 1st Place – Gold Medal, Modeling
🏆 Special Award – Highest Score in Modeling
❤️ Media & Staff Choice Award – voted by international media and competition staff

This wonderful achievement reflects Dada’s confidence, dedication, hard work, and passion as she showcased her talent on an international stage.

Congratulations to Dada, her family, coaches, and everyone who has supported her journey. We are delighted to see another talented young person from Phuket proudly representing Thailand and shining on the international stage.

Internship Opportunity Programme | Summer 2026

Learning goes far beyond the classroom.

Over the summer, our Year 11–13 students had the opportunity to take part in meaningful internship experiences across a wide range of local organisations in Phuket.

From healthcare and architecture to marine conservation, hospitality and recreation, our students were able to step into real professional environments, explore potential career pathways and gain first-hand experience of the world of work.

This summer, 17 students completed internship placements across 9 organisations, including the Thai Red Cross Society Phuket, Vachira Phuket Hospital, Bangkok Hospital Siriroj, Phuket Aquarium, Oracle Architects, OTO Kids Play Park and Phuket Yacht Club.

These experiences provide our students with valuable opportunities to develop essential skills, build confidence, understand workplace expectations and, most importantly, discover more about their own interests and future aspirations.

A sincere thank you to all of our partner organisations for opening your doors to our students and supporting the next generation through real-world learning opportunities.

Welcome Back, KIS Staff — Ready to Rock the New School Year!

Today, we were delighted to welcome our wonderful teachers and staff back to KIS, Phuket as we officially prepare for the start of a brand-new academic year!

Our first day back was all about reconnecting, reflecting and getting ready for the exciting year ahead. From our Full Staff Meeting and welcoming new members of the KIS family, to professional development, Read Write Inc. Phonic Training, pastoral planning and preparations across EYFS, Primary and Secondary — our campus is buzzing with energy once again.

A new school year means new opportunities, new ideas and another year of working together to create the very best learning experiences for our students.

We are refreshed, reconnected and READY TO ROCK 2026/27!

KIS Basketball | Celebrating Our U12 & U14 Teams! 🏀

We are incredibly proud of our U12 and U14 Basketball Teams for their fantastic performances in the 3x3 Basketball Competition under the 2026 Youth and Community Sports Programme.

Both teams demonstrated great effort, determination, sportsmanship, and teamwork throughout the competition.

A special congratulations to our U12 Team, who secured 1st Place with an outstanding undefeated record throughout all four days of the competition! 🏆

This achievement reflects the hard work and commitment of our young athletes, as well as the wonderful support from everyone behind them.

A huge thank you to Coach Boo for his dedication, guidance, and encouragement, and to all our parents for their continued support in making this achievement possible.
