𝐉𝐨𝐢𝐧 𝐔𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐎𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧

We look forward to welcoming parents, both new and returning, to the start of the academic year! Join us at the Cherngtalay Campus Sports Hall on Thursday, 20th August, for our parent orientation meetings, designed to support a smooth and successful launch for your child. These sessions are structured to inform you about the curriculum and the academic support systems we provide, alongside essential guidance on daily scheduling and school policies. Afterwards, take the opportunity to meet your child’s homeroom teacher and explore their new classroom as well as attend special meetings for our Thai, Russian and Mandarin-speaking families.

Session start times can be found in the poster. We look forward to welcoming you on Thursday.

𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡

Welcome back to the new school year and a beautifully upgraded HeadStart Cherngtalay campus! This school year, our Primary learners will no doubt love their brand-new playground. Located next to the Atrium and closer to the Primary building, this space maximises playtime and minimises transitions. Our Secondary students will also benefit from a new dedicated walkway straight to the Secondary school, ensuring our Foundation ILC remains a calm and welcoming environment for our youngest learners. And all our students will benefit from an increase in books at our ever-expanding library. We now have 9,000 library books and an additional 4,500 books in our Primary and Secondary classroom libraries. There's something for all ages as we look forward to a year of reading fun!

We are just as excited to open Building E, the new home for our specially designed Foundation swimming pool and fully equipped nurse's room. This new building also serves as a fantastic hub for parents: you can enjoy a much smoother morning drop-off thanks to a new one-way traffic system, covered walkways, and over 80 new parking spaces at the eastern end of the school site. Afterwards, relax in the expanded Nakita's Cafe, join Coach Jordi and her team for training sessions in our new fitness suite, or pop into our spacious new school shop to pick up uniforms, sports kits, and other essential items.

We trust that these campus improvements will contribute to yet another year of growth and community collaboration.

We are absolutely thrilled to welcome the newest members of our teaching and support staff to the HeadStart community as we expand our fantastic team across both campuses for the 2026-27 academic year! Bringing boundless energy, diverse expertise, and a deep passion for education, these new colleagues are already preparing to make a wonderful impact on our students. To ensure a deep connection with our host country from day one, our new faces have spent part of their orientation embracing Thailand's unique culture, learning traditional customs, and discovering the rich local heritage of Phuket.

We know their dedication to both international educational excellence and local community appreciation will empower our children to flourish academically and personally. Please join us in giving all our new staff a very warm, Thai-style welcome to the HeadStart community!

Today, HeadStart joins the nation in solemn remembrance on Thailand's Mother's Day, honouring the birthday and enduring legacy of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother, who passed away last October. We reflect upon her lifelong dedication to the Thai people, particularly her extensive work in preserving Thai arts, supporting rural communities, and protecting the environment, which continues to provide a profound example of service for our students and wider community. We extend our deepest respect in remembrance of her remarkable life; may Her Majesty rest in peace.

What an incredible 6 weeks! 🎉☀️

Our HeadStart Summer Camp 2026 has come to an end, and what an amazing journey it has been! 💙💛

From exciting trips and outdoor adventures, to hands-on science experiments, scavenger hunts, sports, creative arts, dance, robotics, coding and so much more, every day was filled with fun, learning and laughter! 🌟

A huge THANK YOU to our fantastic teachers, coaches, support staff and providers who made this camp so special, and to our wonderful campers and families for being part of the adventure. 🙌❤️

We hope the friendships, confidence, new skills and unforgettable memories made this summer will stay with every child and every member of staff for years to come.

Our Summer Basketball Camps 𝐚𝐭 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐨𝐟𝐚𝐡 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬 offer an incredible opportunity for players to tap into their full potential, enhance their skills, and enjoy a high-energy, fun-filled experience! A shuttle bus service will be available for pre-registered Cherngtalay students.
