🎉Happy New Year🎉
❗️We start the year off with a new room❗️
Our new office is temporarily relocated to very first floor of Building 6. We will be conducting many tutoring, extra classroom activities and board game sessions here. Feel free to visit us here and join us in the upcoming activities.

We are visited by Japanese students from Sojo University and Shibaura Institute of Technology. They are here for an exchange program which lasted for a week, and we have a wonderful time showing them around the university and participate in workshops as well as some other fun activities together. We had a board game session with them, they were very competitive amongst each other and showed great English communication skills. We had a pleasant time with them and hope they enjoyed the trip.

We organised the 2nd movie day and the movie was one of the most popular horror movies called Annabelle.🎬🪆
The movie was in English and we had a 30mins of discussion session.🇬🇧🗣
Some participants stood in the front of everyone and share their thoughts about the movie in English.
As you can see from the evaluations from the participants, they are happy that they get to practice and improve their English skills while activity watching the movie and interact with each other.😍😊
We will have next movie day soon and all CoC students are invited so feel free to join and let’s practice English together!

CoC English Clinic will organise the 2nd movie day from 19:00-21:00🎬
This time we are going to watch horror movie called “Annabelle” and the room will be at 6202(with a huge projector screen and huge speakers)
You can bring your own snacks to each while watching movie and we will provide free drinks for you.
After watching movie, we will have a small discussion session about the movie as well.
📌Full time participants will get 2 elective activity hours.

We had a great morning trip on Sunday 28th at Chill Rim Lay cafe and Groove cafe.😁😘
Over 100 participants joined including CoC Thai students, international students(Japan, Nepal, Russia, Austria…etc), the medical students from PSU Hatyai and both Thai and international lecturers. 💥
They enjoyed kayaking, swimming at the beach, drinks and cakes at the cafe and board game sessions. 🛶
There were many interactions between Thai and international students especially during the board game sessions and students could improve their English skills especially listening and speaking.💯👨🎓

We had our first movie day on Wednesday 31st.🥳🎬
The purpose of this activity was to actively improve their English skills by enjoying the nature of the activity itself.
The movie was spider-man and they watched it by English dubbing and subtitles so they could practiced both listening and reading skills during the movie.
After the movie session, we had 30 mins discussion about the movie in English and they practiced speaking skills during this session time.
Lastly, there were 8 medical students from PSU Hatyai campus and they shared the experience of learning and improving English. Especially how they studied English was really helpful for CoC thai students.
📣📣On next Friday, we will organise new movie day and it is going to be a horror movie from 19:00-21:00.

== ISTANBUL BOARD GAME ==
This is one of our favorite board games in our collection. This board game isn't only fun but also gets you to think strategically to be more successful than your opponents. The aim of this game is to be the first to collect 5 rubies through variety of interactions. You must be patient to play this game and plan well before you execute your moves in order to finish with great success.

During the long break, we organized small boardgame sessions with our fellow CoC students. We encourage others to communicate in English so that we all can develop our speaking skills. In this session, we tried an old game that we used to play a while ago called Dix-It. We don't often play this game so some participants were not familiar with it so we had to go slow this time but it was still fun as usual.
