International Day at Finnway was filled with colour, culture, laughter, music, movement, and joyful community spirit from beginning to end.

From performances and parades to shared food, dancing, creativity, and meaningful cultural experiences, the day beautifully reflected what makes Finnway such a special international community.

A very special thank you to all the parents who helped create such a warm and vibrant experience through the incredible cultural food and activity booths. Your time, creativity, generosity, and enthusiasm brought the event to life and reminded us how powerful community involvement can be in a child’s learning journey.

At Finnway, some of the most meaningful learning happens when children feel proud of who they are, curious about others, and connected to the community around them.

🌿 Sometimes learning looks like muddy hands, loose parts, collected treasures, invented games, and stories created together in the moment.

At Finnway Early Years, play is not random. It is intentional, meaningful, child led exploration that builds creativity, confidence, communication, problem solving, and imagination through real experiences and authentic environments.

🌿 Growing Through Continuity, Confidence, and Care 🌿

We were delighted to welcome families to our K3 to Grade 1 Transition Meeting at Finnway International School Phuket.

Here the transition from Kindergarten to Primary is not a sudden shift in philosophy or expectations.

It is a carefully designed progression built on the strong foundations already developed throughout our Early Years programme.

As students move into Grade 1, these foundations are intentionally deepened through more structured inquiry, expanding literacy and numeracy experiences, project-based learning, real-world exploration, and growing independence, while still maintaining the wellbeing-centred, child-focused approach at the heart of Finnish education.

Thank you to all the families who joined our meeting as we presented how Finnway supports every child’s learning journey with care, purpose, and continuity. 💛

There was plenty of excitement as our students headed out for their first swimming lesson of the season. 🏊‍♂️

From the journey to the pool to those first moments in the water, this is all part of building confidence, independence, and growing confidence in the water. 💛
