Like a glitch in the Matrix… 🌀
• 3 months ago: 2nd across the line at a 10.5K in Phuket… and ultimately declared 1st overall. 🥇
• Last Sunday (UTMB Betong 26K / 900m D+): 1st across the finish line… but reclassified as 2nd, just 30’’ behind the winner after a 6-minute penalty. 🥈
This is exactly what makes the Running Adventure so wild and unpredictable!😊
Between race splits, strategy, nutrition, managing physical and mental states, or unforeseen events ... adaptation, letting go, and the drive to do your best all come down to one thing: focusing on the essential.
I had decided to take my place… but which one?! 🤔😊😇🙏
The goal remains unchanged: keep training for the 44K UTMB Hong Kong (2500m D+) in November.
These races are real-world tests to fine-tune the details and validate the training volume.

🎂 45 years old… and still aligning with my own path. ✨
To be honest, I’ve never been drawn to standardised yoga classes. For a long time, I tried to offer the 'expected' yoga—the kind that feels safe, but never truly resonated with me.
Today, I can finally put precise words to my practice and my teaching:
SOMATIC INTUITIVE YOGA.
It’s about merging movement (and micro-movement) with the breathwork of the moment to let a meditative state emerge—essential for our balance.🧘♂️
For a long time, I joked about it being a sort of "STAND UP YOGA" 😂 because it felt like improvisation.
But it’s far from improvised. It’s about fine-tuned listening and observation: sensing the needs of an indivsmall group to provide the yoga response of the moment.
Naturally, we are far from visual performance and body image; we dive into inner sensation to live better and know ourselves more deeply.
🏃I apply this same approach to Running Coaching. It’s more than just running; it’s a postural, respiratory, and mental alignment with the challenges of the moment, in search of natural performance, connected to oneself.

🏆 A victory for breathwork and effort management.Yoga 🧘♂️🌬
The goal was to test myself on a hilly 10.5K in the Vichit District. Despite the Phuket heat and the years going by, beating my October 2017 record in Vélizy 🇫🇷 felt completely realistic to me.
The Results:
🥇 1st Place Overall (A total surprise—I was convinced I was in 2nd place until after the finish line! 😂)
🚀 New 10K Personal Best: 37:35 to celebrate entering the 45-49 age category. (-10 seconds!)
⏱ 10.5K completed in 39:33.
🧠 Running by feel, not by pacing :
I never once looked at my watch during the entire race. I gave everything based on feel, staying perfectly tuned to my capacity of the day to endure high intensity (99% in Zone 5).
How is this possible?
As a Yoga teacher, I stay connected to my breath to face adversity. In the days leading up to the race, I prepare the "engine":
• Recovery & Nervous System: Maximizing oxygenation to arrive fresh, focused, and calm.
• CO2 Tolerance: Through simple breathing exercises, I train my body to accept acidity and intense effort.
• Adaptability: I prepare my mindset to embrace the difficulty of the present moment.
Once again, it’s not what you might think: THE RESULTS DO NOT APPEAR BY FIGHTING AGAINST YOURSELF, but by working on yourself and accepting your current limits.
The first milestone of my 2026 Trail Season is officially validated! ✅

🏔️ 2026: Goal – Trail UTMB 50K
The preparation has already started!
This year, the objective is a major milestone: crossing the finish line of my first 50K trail race with significant vertical gain.
As a Running & Yoga Coach, my priority isn't just to "finish," but to build a solid progression to grow as an athlete and understand the physical and mental adjustments required for this distance.
🗓️ My Strategic Calendar:
01.02.26 - 10.3K Vichit Phuket (Road) 🏃♂️
The Goal: Building the Engine. Starting on the road to work on VO2 max, raw speed, and cardio. This is the power base that will serve me all year long.
03.05.26 - UTMB Betong 26K (950m D+) 🇹🇭
12.09.26 - UTMB Taiping 26K (1252m D+) 🇲🇾
The Goal: Technique & Resilience. Two short, demanding trails in the heart of the rainy season. This is the time to develop adaptability to muddy terrain, mental toughness, and to monitor training progress on 3h+ efforts.
Mid-November - THE PEAK: UTMB TransLantau 52K (2500m D+) 🇭🇰 or Chiang-Mai (Depending on professional or personal schedule 🤞)
The Goal: Finishing strong. Completing my first 50K "cleanly," validating endurance management, and enjoying the result of a structured preparation.

Each race is strategically spaced out to promote optimal recovery and to observe the levers to be activated.

2025 has been incredible. Our athletic achievements are often a direct reflection of our emotional well-being. 📈📉
🙏This isn’t about an over-inflated ego; it’s about reaching a higher level of self-understanding and acceptance. 🌿
🧘♂️However, to rise, one must first be grounded.
Setting a daily "appointment with yourself" is the key to living better.
Simply sitting and observing yourself without judgment.
Learning to watch your thoughts, being honest with yourself, and accepting what feels uncomfortable without forcing it...
