ประเทศไทย 1 ใน 62 ประเทศทั่วโลกที่เข้าร่วมโครงการ Eco School
โดยมีโรงเรียนในเขตกรุงเทพฯ สมุทรปราการ นนทบุรี และภูเก็ต ให้ความสนใจเข้าร่วมถึง 21 โรงเรียน

โครงการ Eco School มีเป้าหมายหลักเพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมให้เด็กๆ สามารถปรับตัวและรับมือกับการเปลี่ยนแปลงของสภาพภูมิอากาศและภัยพิบัติที่อาจรุนแรงขึ้นในอนาคต
ผ่านการสอน จนนำไปสู่การลงมือทำ และต่อยอดไปถึงขั้นการนำมาประดิษฐ์ใหม่เพื่อใช้ซ้ำ
สอดคล้องกับ WEEC NETWORK ที่เป็นศูนย์รวมผลงานทางด้านวิชาการ ความรู้ และการแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูลสารต่างๆ เกี่ยวกับสิ่งแวดล้อมในเอเชีย
เพื่อนำมาพัฒนาต่อยอดจนเกิดการแก้ไขปัญหาสิ่งแวดล้อมอย่างยั่งยืน

Thailand is 1 of the 62 countries around the world to participate in Eco School programme.
Over 21 schools in Bangkok, Samut Prakan, Nonthaburi, and Phuket has been actively engaged.

Eco School objective is to prepare children to adapt themselves and anticipate climate change as well as more dangerous disasters in the future.
Through the learning and active practice, children will get to further create an invention for reuse. This corresponds with WEEC NETWORK, the center to connect and collect various work of academics, knowledge, and data exchange about environment in Asia and implement the useful expertise further for sustainable solutions to environmental problems.

ในการปิดการประชุม WEEC 2019 ดร.สุรัตน์ บัวเลิศ ได้กล่าวถึงไฮไลท์สำคัญของสรุปผลการประชุม WEEC 2019 ที่เกิดขึ้น นั่นก็คือ Asian Environment Network ซึ่งเป็นการสร้างเครือข่ายในภูมิภาคเอเชียเพื่อความร่วมมือด้านการพัฒนาสิ่งแวดล้อมอย่างยั่งยืนในรูปแบบของ Digital Platformร ที่รวบรวมผลงานทางด้านวิชาการ ความรู้ และการแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูลสารต่างๆ เกี่ยวกับสิ่งแวดล้อมในเอเชีย เพื่อนำมาพัฒนาต่อยอดจนเกิดผลลัพธ์ในการแก้ไขปัญหาสิ่งแวดล้อมอย่างยั่งยืน โดยได้รับความสนใจและความร่วมมือจากหลายภาคส่วนทั้งในและต่างประเทศ ตลอดจนประกาศเจ้าภาพในการจัดการประชุม WEEC 2021 ในอีก 2 ปี ข้างหน้า ซึ่งได้แก่ กรุงปราก สาธารณรัฐเช็ก

In the closing ceremony of WEEC 2019, Dr. Surat Bualert addressed about the highlights of WEEC 2019 conference summary, Asian Environment Network. The new network that connects Asia for environmental sustainability development. Digital Platform collects various work of academics, knowledge, and data exchange about environment in Asia and implement the useful expertise further for sustainable solutions to environmental problems. AEN has received enormous interest and collaboration from both national and international sectors. The anticipated WEEC 2021 has been officially announced to be hosted in the next 2 years at Prague, Czech.

Italy attempts to become the world’s leader in environmental education!
Starting on September 2020, students will get to compulsory study about climate change and environment so that everyone can jointly and sustainably solve environmental issues.
WEEC’s ASIA ENVIRONMENT NETWORK shares the same goal. With the Digital Platform, everyone can be connected to useful knowledge to further develop efficient solutions to environmental issues.
