It Started with a Question:
“How Do We Make Ice Cream?” 🍦✨

Earlier this week, the children began wondering about something very important…

How is ice cream made?
Do we have to cook it?
How does it become cold and yummy like this?

Instead of answering right away, the teachers invited them to guess, share their ideas, and think together.
Then came the next question:

“Would you like to find out?”

And just like that, another learning experience grew from the children’s own curiosity.

This week, every child got to make their own simple ice cream. They chose juice or jelly, placed it inside a small bag, and then shook it in a bowl of ice mixed with salt. Little by little, they watched the liquid change and becoming thicker, colder, and eventually turning into something they could proudly call "their own ice cream".

There was plenty of shaking, laughing, waiting, checking and of course, tasting. 🍧

But behind all that fun, the children were observing change, making predictions, testing an idea, using their bodies, and discovering that a question can lead to a real investigation.

จากคำถามเล็ก ๆ “ไอติมทำยังไงนะ?”
จนกลายมาเป็นอีกหนึ่งกิจกรรมของสัปดาห์นี้
เด็กทุกคนได้ลงมือทำไอติมด้วยตัวเอง ตั้งแต่เลือกวัตถุดิบ เขย่าถุงในน้ำแข็งผสมเกลือ สังเกตของเหลวที่ค่อย ๆ เปลี่ยนไป จนสุดท้ายได้ชิมไอติมที่ตัวเองทำ

ทั้งสนุก ทั้งภูมิใจ
และได้เรียนรู้จากการลงมือหาคำตอบด้วยตนเอง
เพราะบางครั้ง บทเรียนที่เด็กจำได้นานที่สุด
ไม่ได้เริ่มจากสิ่งที่ครูอยากสอน

แต่มาจากคำถามที่เด็กอยากรู้…แล้วได้ลงมือหาคำตอบด้วยตัวเอง

🛝 Safety First with K.1 🛝
Learning “Safe Play” through Real Experiences

Today, our Kindergarten 1 students learned about “Safe and Unsafe” situations through observation and discussion. Children looked at different pictures, made decisions whether each situation was safe or unsafe, and explained their reasons based on their own understanding.

We then extended learning to the outdoor playground, where children practiced safe play using real equipment. This hands-on experience supports the Te Whāriki approach, encouraging children to think, make decisions, and learn through meaningful, real-life contexts.

🌟 โรงเรียนสาธิตมหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏเพชรบุรี (ฝ่ายอนุบาล) 🌟
พาน้อง ๆ เข้าร่วมงาน “สัปดาห์วิทยาศาสตร์แห่งชาติ ประจำปีงบประมาณ 2569” เพื่อเปิดโลกการเรียนรู้ สร้างแรงบันดาลใจ และเสริมทักษะทางวิทยาศาสตร์ให้กับเด็ก ๆ ผ่านประสบการณ์จริง

ภายในงาน เด็ก ๆ ได้เข้าชมนิทรรศการหลากหลายรูปแบบ ทั้งนิทรรศการเทิดพระเกียรติและกิจกรรมการแข่งขันทักษะวิชาการ ภายใต้แนวคิด
🔬 “Intelligence Science for a Sustainable Future”

นอกจากนี้ ยังได้เรียนรู้และซึมซับพระอัจฉริยภาพด้านวิทยาศาสตร์ เทคโนโลยี และนวัตกรรม จากนิทรรศการสำคัญ อาทิ
✨ พระบาทสมเด็จพระจอมเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว “พระบิดาแห่งวิทยาศาสตร์ไทย”
✨ พระบาทสมเด็จพระบรมชนกาธิเบศร มหาภูมิพลอดุลยเดชมหาราช “พระบิดาแห่งเทคโนโลยีของไทย” และ “พระบิดาแห่งนวัตกรรมไทย”
✨ สมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิติ์ พระบรมราชินีนาถ พระบรมราชชนนีพันปีหลวง ผู้ทรงเป็นต้นแบบแห่งการอนุรักษ์ทรัพยากรธรรมชาติ ความหลากหลายทางชีวภาพ และศิลปาชีพไทย

กิจกรรมครั้งนี้ไม่เพียงแต่สร้างความรู้ แต่ยังจุดประกายความคิด สร้างแรงบันดาลใจ และปลูกฝังทักษะแห่งอนาคตให้กับเด็ก ๆ อย่างแท้จริง 💡🌱

ขอขอบพระคุณอาจารย์ศิริพร อ่วมศิริ ผู้ช่วยคณบดีคณะเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศ ที่เมตตามาแบ่งปันความรู้และเปิดโอกาสให้เด็ก ๆ ได้รู้จักเครื่องมือวัดค่า PM2.5 และอุณหภูมิ จากของจริง

สำหรับเด็กเล็ก สิ่งสำคัญอาจไม่ใช่เพียงแค่จำได้ว่าตัวเลขแต่ละค่าหมายถึงอะไร แต่คือการได้เริ่มเข้าใจว่า สิ่งรอบตัวเราสามารถสังเกต ตั้งคำถาม วัด เปรียบเทียบ และค้นหาคำตอบได้

เพราะเมื่อเด็กเริ่มมองสิ่งธรรมดารอบตัวด้วยคำถามใหม่ ๆ
นั่นคือจุดที่วิทยาศาสตร์จะเริ่มมีชีวิตขึ้นมาจริง ๆ ✨

A week of questions, curiosity, and little discoveries. 🔬✨

Earlier this week, our children had the chance to visit the National Science Week 2026 (Regional Event) at our Phetchaburi Rajabhat University.

What made the experience meaningful was not simply seeing “science,” but having the freedom to notice, wonder, ask, try, and make connections with what was around them.

For young children, experiences like this help build working theories about how the world works. One child may be drawn to movement, another to light, colour, sound, or something completely unexpected and each curiosity can become a starting point for further learning.

That is the beauty of a Te Whāriki-inspired approach:
we do not always begin with what children should know,
sometimes we begin with what they are curious about.

สัปดาห์นี้เด็ก ๆ ได้ออกไปเจอกับโลกวิทยาศาสตร์ในพื้นที่จริง และสิ่งที่เราตั้งใจให้พวกเค้าได้เรียนรู้ ไม่ใช่แค่ “ความรู้” จากในงาน

แต่คือ ความสงสัย ความตื่นเต้น และคำถามใหม่ ๆ ที่เกิดขึ้นระหว่างทาง

เพราะบางครั้ง จุดเริ่มต้นของการเรียนรู้ที่ดีที่สุด
อาจไม่ใช่คำตอบที่เด็กได้รับ

แต่อาจเป็นคำถามบางอย่าง…ที่เขายังอยากจะรู้ต่อไป ✨

A Little Light, A Lot of Questions. ✨

After Circle Time, the children noticed lamps, flashlights, transparent and opaque materials, clear plastic sheets, and some mysterious objects waiting quietly around the room.

Some children returned to the familiar corners they already loved. But many were immediately drawn to the new materials, shining light through them, covering the light, moving objects closer and farther away, and watching carefully to see what changed.

And very quickly, the questions began.

“Why is there a shadow here?”
”Why is this shadow bigger?”
And sometimes, the teachers added a question of their own:
“Why can the light pass through this, but not through the table?”

There was no rush to give an answer.

Instead, the children were encouraged to look again, make a guess, test an idea, listen to a friend, change something, and try once more.

What began as curiosity slowly became investigation and each child followed a slightly different path, building understanding from the questions that genuinely mattered to them.

When children have questions of their own, learning becomes something they are part of, not something simply given to them.

วันนี้เราไม่ได้เริ่มจากการบอกเด็กว่า “คำตอบคืออะไร”
แต่เริ่มจากการสร้างพื้นที่ให้เด็ก
อยากรู้ กล้าถาม และลองหาคำตอบด้วยตัวเอง

เราเริ่มจากการวางบางสิ่งไว้ให้เด็ก อยากรู้
แล้วปล่อยให้คำถามของพวกเขาเป็นคนพาการเรียนรู้เดินต่อไป

เพราะบางครั้ง การเรียนรู้ที่มีความหมายที่สุด

🧸 The best learning begins with a child’s interest.

We provide opportunities for children to freely choose what they want to play
and learn through hands-on experiences, step by step with meaning.

👉🏻 When children choose by themselves, they stay more focused
👉🏻 When they learn by doing, the learning becomes deeper and lasting
👉🏻 When they complete a task, they feel proud of their work

After playing, children are guided to complete the whole process
and take responsibility by returning materials neatly to their place.

🌿 One-of-a-Kind Scent for our loved ones.

This past week, the children explored another beautiful part of Thai identity: Thai herbs.

Rather than simply learning their names, the children experienced them through their senses. They touched, smelled, compared, and discovered how each herb carried its own character: fresh, warm, soft, strong, or wonderfully unexpected.

Then came the most exciting part: creating their own scent.

Each child chose the herbs they felt might smell beautiful together, experimented with different combinations, adjusted their ideas, and slowly created a blend that felt uniquely theirs.

There was no single recipe to follow and no “right” scent to make.

From there, the children designed their own packaging, turning their creation into a one-of-a-kind Thai herbal inhaler, made not simply as a product, but as a small gift for someone they love.

What began with Thai herbs became something much more meaningful:
a journey of exploring, choosing, creating, and finally giving.

Because when children are given the freedom to create with meaning, even the simplest materials can become something that exists only once in the world.

สมุนไพรไทยอาจเป็นสิ่งที่เด็ก ๆ ไม่คุ้นตา
แต่เมื่อเด็กได้เรียนรู้ สัมผัส เลือก ทดลอง และสร้างด้วยตัวเอง
สิ่งที่ดูเหมือนพืชแห้ง ๆ ธรรมดา ก็สามารถกลายเป็นสิ่งใหม่ที่มีความหมายได้

ยาดมสมุนไพรชิ้นนี้จึงไม่ได้มีเพียง “กลิ่นที่เด็กเลือกเอง”
แต่ยังมีกลิ่นของ ความตั้งใจ ความคิดสร้างสรรค์
ความรักที่อยากมอบให้ใครบางคน

และมีเพียงชิ้นเดียวในโลกค่ะ 🌿💛

🍀A Mother’s Love, Seen Through a Child’s Eyes

This Mother’s Day, we did not begin with a card.
We began with a question:
Who is a mother, and how has she cared for us?

We talked about how a mother’s care begins even before a child is born. To help the children understand this through experience, they tried carrying a box of blocks with a weight similar to carrying a baby during pregnancy.

Even for a short time, they could feel the heaviness.

After birth, that care continues. Someone feeds us, holds us, comforts us, keeps us safe, holds our hands as we learn to walk, and stays beside us as we slowly grow.

When we asked the children,
“How does it make you feel when you think about all the care you have received?”

the room became quiet.
Some smiled.
Some said they missed their mothers.
Some were so moved that tears came to their eyes.

In that moment, gratitude was not something we had to teach them to say.
They began to feel it for themselves.
Only then did we ask:

“If someone has cared for us this much, what would you like to do for them?”

The children looked around the classroom and the school, shared their ideas, chose their own materials, and began creating small gifts and gestures of thanks.

There was no identical craft.
Just little hands making something from a feeling that had become meaningful to them.

เพราะความกตัญญู ไม่ควรเริ่มจากการบอกเด็กว่า “ต้องขอบคุณ”
แต่เริ่มจากการทำให้เขาได้มองเห็นว่า ตลอดเวลาที่เขาเติบโตมา
มีใครบางคนคอยรัก คอยอุ้ม คอยช่วย และคอยดูแลเขาอยู่เสมอ

เมื่อเด็กมองเห็นการดูแล เขาจึงเริ่มมองเห็นคุณค่าของคนรอบตัว
และคำว่า “ขอบคุณ” ก็เกิดขึ้นจากหัวใจของเขาเอง

คุณครูทุกคนดีใจมากที่ได้เห็นหัวใจเล็ก ๆ ของเด็ก ๆ ในสัปดาห์นี้
เต็มไปด้วยความรัก ความอ่อนโยน และความกตัญญูต่อผู้คนที่คอยดูแลพวกเขามาตลอด สุขสันต์วันแม่ค่ะ 🩵

Thank you for being the love and care behind every little life that continues to grow. 🤍
