It certainly was a busy first week at The Ark Learning Centre.
Life skills grow naturally when children are given opportunities to explore, create, solve problems, care for their environment and support one another. They learn responsibility, confidence, independence and, perhaps most importantly, how to be part of a community.
Learning, growing, laughing and simply loving being together.

At our beautiful learning centre, The Ark curiosity is at the heart of everything we do. We meet each student at their individual level, nurture their abilities, and help them progress through learning that is meaningful, engaging and fun. And then this happens: happy students choosing to sit together and enjoy a good book, even during their breaks. That is when you know a love of learning is growing naturally. 🌱📖🌱

Back to school! We had so much fun decorating our schoolyard: planning, collecting, upcycling, reusing and enjoying all the beautiful nature around us. Learning outdoors is so much more fun. Getting dirty is all part of it.

โรงเรียนส่วนใหญ่สอนภาษาอังกฤษ คณิตศาสตร์ และวิทยาศาสตร์แยกจากกัน แต่เราสร้างโลกทั้งใบรอบหนังสือหนึ่งเล่มตลอด 8 สัปดาห์แทน
เด็กๆ อ่าน เขียน และแสดงบทบาทจากเรื่องราวนั้น และที่ใจกลางของทุกอย่างคือภารกิจ (Commission) ที่เติบโตจากโลกของหนังสือ ปัญหาที่ต้องแก้ไขร่วมกันในฐานะทีมผู้เชี่ยวชาญ ทุก Studio Block จบลงด้วยผู้ชมจริง ไม่ว่าจะเป็นงานแสดง เทศกาล หรืองานเลี้ยงฉลอง
Studio Block ทั้งสี่ครั้งประกอบกันเป็นหนึ่งปีการศึกษา อยากรู้จักหนังสือและภารกิจของเทอมนี้ไหม? ทักมาคุยกับเราได้เลยค่ะ

Most schools teach English, Maths, and Science as separate boxes to tick. We build a whole 8-week world around one carefully chosen book instead.Children read it, write from it, act it out, and at the centre, a real commission grows from its world: a problem to solve, together, as a team of experts. Every block ends with a real audience in the form of either a showcase, a festival, or a feast.

Ask most children what they did at school today, and you'll get "nothing much." Ask a Pathfinder in October what they're working on, and you might hear all about the tunnel they're designing, because from 10 August, our Y3–4 group becomes a team of underground engineers, commissioned to solve a real problem straight out of Fantastic Mr Fox. They're not filling in a worksheet about tunnels. They're the engineers who have to build one. That's Mantle of the Expert, and it's why children who've struggled to stay interested elsewhere often can't wait to get back to their commission here.

ถามลูกส่วนใหญ่ว่าวันนี้เรียนอะไรมาที่โรงเรียน คำตอบมักจะเป็น "ก็เรียนไปเรื่อยๆ" แต่ถ้าถามเด็กกลุ่ม Pathfinders ในเดือนตุลาคม คุณอาจได้ฟังเรื่องอุโมงค์ที่พวกเขากำลังออกแบบอยู่ เพราะตั้งแต่วันที่ 10 สิงหาคม เด็กกลุ่ม ป.3–4 ของเราจะกลายเป็นทีมวิศวกรใต้ดิน ที่ได้รับมอบหมายงานจากชุมชนสัตว์ในเรื่อง Fantastic Mr Fox

ที่ The Ark ภาษาไทยและภาษาอังกฤษไม่ใช่โปรแกรมที่แยกจากกัน แต่อยู่ในห้องเดียวกัน ดูแลโดยครูไทยและครูต่างชาติที่ทำงานร่วมกันในฐานะหุ้นส่วน เราเชื่อว่าครอบครัวคือหุ้นส่วน ไม่ใช่ลูกค้า พ่อแม่มีส่วนร่วมกำหนดเส้นทางการเรียนรู้ของลูกไปพร้อมกับเรา

Thai and English coexist in our classrooms, not as separate programmes, but two languages held together by Thai and foreign guides working as partners. Families are partners here too, not customers.

เราเชื่อว่าเด็กทุกคนมีเรื่องราวของฮีโร่ที่รอการค้นพบ และหน้าที่ของการศึกษาคือช่วยให้พวกเขาค้นพบมัน การเรียนรู้ที่ดีที่สุดเกิดขึ้นเมื่อเด็กรู้สึกปลอดภัย ได้รับการมองเห็น และถูกท้าทาย ไม่ใช่แค่อย่างใดอย่างหนึ่ง แต่ทั้งสามอย่างพร้อมกัน เราเคยเห็นเด็กที่เคยลำบากในที่อื่น กลายเป็นผู้เชี่ยวชาญในภารกิจ (Commission) นำการสนทนา หรือแก้ปัญหาที่ไม่มีใครแก้ได้ นั่นคือสิ่งที่เกิดขึ้นเมื่อเด็กที่มีความหลากหลายทางระบบประสาทและเด็กทั่วไปเรียนรู้ร่วมกัน

We believe every child has a heroic story waiting to be told, and that the job of education is to help them find it. The best learning happens when children feel safe, known, and challenged. Not one of those things. All three, at the same time. We've watched children who struggled elsewhere become the expert in a Commission, lead a discussion, or solve a problem nobody else could. That's what happens when neurodivergent and neurotypical children learn side by side.
