See. Think. Wonder. 🔬 Grade 2 students explored real laboratory tools, carefully observing what they noticed and wondering how each tool might be used. Then came the fun part: matching the real tools to their names and photos! A hands-on lesson in curiosity, questioning, and scientific thinking.

Secondary students took their learning outdoors with a water bottle rocket investigation — putting the scientific method and inquiry into action! 🧪💦From identifying variables and making predictions to collecting data, evaluating results, and reflecting on what they discovered, students experienced the full cycle of scientific inquiry. Inquiry → Experiment → Reflect → Learn!

Back to School Night was a lively community evening that brought students, parents, and staff together on campus. Families enjoyed a student soccer match, connected with teachers in classrooms, explored specialist activities, and joined parent workshops. 🌱🐐 Learning goes beyond the classroom! Today, our Trust & Caring class spent a wonderful day bonding with nature. Little hands were busy preparing snacks for the goats, nurturing plants, and even mixing fertilizer to help our trees grow strong. Through these meaningful interactions, students are building empathy, learning responsibility, and discovering the joy of caring for the living world around them 🌿💚

🎶 Making music, making ideas, making something of their own. In Grades 6 and 7, students are exploring music through both hands-on instrumental learning and digital composition. 💻Using music notation software, students turn their ideas into original compositions — experimenting, creating, revising, and bringing their musical thinking to life. A great example of MYP learning in action!

So Much to Celebrate at MYIS! We have officially completed our third IB PYP Evaluation Visit, an important process that takes place every five years, and we are delighted to share that the feedback we received was very positive.

A huge thank you to our PYP Team, especially Ms. Beth, our PYP Coordinator, for her leadership and dedication, and to our entire Primary School team for making this visit such a success.
