**What helps children learn the most?**
Many people think it's the curriculum, the classroom, or the latest technology.
While these all play an important role, educational research consistently points to something even more powerful:
**Relationships.**
A landmark review of more than 70 years of research involving approximately **2.6 million students** found that positive teacher–student relationships are strongly linked to higher academic achievement, greater motivation, stronger wellbeing, better self-regulation, and a deeper sense of belonging.
Children don't learn their best because they never make mistakes.
They learn their best because they feel safe enough to make them.
When a teacher knows a child by name, celebrates their progress, encourages them through challenges, and believes in their potential, learning becomes more than lessons—it becomes confidence, curiosity, and resilience.
