Grade 2 enjoyed our annual egg drop challenge this week. They chose their team names, designed their device, then built, and tested them. Some eggs did not survive, and some did. Either way, it doesn't matter about the egg. We worked hard and had a lot of fun :-) Super job, class!

Storytime Friday brings you the story of Gelert, a brave dog from Wales.
Long ago, a prince went hunting and asked Gelert to guard his baby. When he came back, the room was messy, the baby was gone, and Gelert had blood on his mouth. The prince thought Gelert hurt the baby and, without thinking, he killed him.
But then, the baby cried! The prince found the baby safe beside a dead wolf. Gelert had actually saved the child. The prince felt very sad, because if he had looked more carefully, Gelert would still be alive.
Even today, Gelert’s grave can be found in Wales. This story is not only about loyalty and thinking before we act, but it also lets us explore the culture and folktales of another country.

We are so proud of our MEP students for showcasing their English skills in Showcase 2025 today. Every performance was truly impressive, and year after year, they continue to gain confidence and shine brighter on stage. A big kudos to all the teachers and parents for supporting this successful event.

To end their unit on separation techniques, Grade 6 took science into their own hands. After exploring methods like filtration, sifting, and decantation in class, students built their own water filters using layers of charcoal, sand, and pebbles. It was a fun and engaging way to bring their learning to life!
In celebration of Wai Kru Day, our storytime spotlights the incredible journey of teachers because teaching isn’t as easy as it looks. It takes patience, creativity, and a whole lot of love! In our story, we’ll learn why teachers are amazing and why it’s so important to listen and be kind to them.
But wait… what if the naughtiest student had to become the teacher for a day? 😱
Can Milo handle it? Or will he learn that being a teacher is tougher than it seems?
