Phonics are so Important. Learning phonics gives you the knowledge of the letter-sound combinations in the English language. Without this knowledge, you will find it difficult to learn new words. If you can’t figure out what the word on the page says, you will have a problem understanding it. The more letter-sound combinations you know, the more you can make connections in your mind when approaching new words that you haven’t seen before.

In other words, the more you know about letter sound combinations, the easier it is for you to learn and speak the English Language.
