Dear SLRI users,
On behalf of Synchrotron Light Research Institute (Public Organization), SLRI, we’d like to inform you of our latest beamline which will be opened for user service in the near future and ask for your help with the beamline commissioning. In its first phase of operation, the BL1.1W Multiple X-ray Technique will service the X-ray Absorption Spectroscopy (XAS) technique with available x-ray energy range from 3.6 to 18 keV (absorption edges available shown in the attached file). From April 20th to May 31st, we will setup room temperature XAS measurements in transmission mode. We’d like to invite you to participate in these measurements.
Should you wish to join the commissioning, please send a brief explanation of your intended experiment and the sample description to the beamline scientists responsible for this beamline; Dr.Prae Chirawatkul ([email protected]) or Dr.Chatree Saiyasombat ([email protected]). In the case that the number of submitted projects is over the available commissioning time slot, we would reserve the right to project selection. Financial supports for accommodations and travel expenses will be given to users whose projects are granted beam time during this period, at the maximum of two persons per project. We would only ask for your permission for the data to be reproduced in our internal reports.
We’d like to thank you for your continual supports and look forward to your contributions.
Sincerely yours,
