AIHD ขับเคลื่อน Data Science และ AI สู่การวิจัยเพื่อสิ่งแวดล้อมและความยั่งยืน

วันที่ 21 สิงหาคม 2569 ดร.ซูไฮมี บูยา อาจารย์ประจำสถาบันพัฒนาสุขภาพอาเซียน มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล ร่วมถ่ายทอดองค์ความรู้ในหัวข้อ “Data Science Application in Environmental and Sustainability Research” ภายในงานประชุมวิชาการนานาชาติ “AI for Good 2026: Global Sustainability Summit” นำเสนอแนวทางการประยุกต์ใช้วิทยาศาสตร์ข้อมูลเพื่อยกระดับการวิจัยด้านสิ่งแวดล้อมและการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน พร้อมชี้ให้เห็นถึงศักยภาพของข้อมูล เทคโนโลยี และนวัตกรรมในการตอบโจทย์ความท้าทายด้านสิ่งแวดล้อมของโลกในปัจจุบัน

การประยุกต์ใช้ Data Science ในงานวิจัยด้านสิ่งแวดล้อมไม่ได้จำกัดอยู่เพียงการรวบรวมและวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล แต่เป็นกระบวนการสำคัญในการเปลี่ยนข้อมูลที่มีความซับซ้อนและหลากหลายให้เป็น องค์ความรู้และหลักฐานเชิงประจักษ์ (Evidence-based Insights) ที่สามารถนำไปใช้เพื่อระบุแนวโน้ม วิเคราะห์ปัจจัยที่เกี่ยวข้อง คาดการณ์สถานการณ์ และสนับสนุนการตัดสินใจได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ

องค์ความรู้ดังกล่าวสะท้อนทิศทางของงานวิจัยยุคใหม่ที่มุ่ง บูรณาการวิทยาศาสตร์ เทคโนโลยี และข้อมูล เพื่อเพิ่มขีดความสามารถในการทำความเข้าใจปัญหาสิ่งแวดล้อมที่มีความซับซ้อนและเชื่อมโยงกันในหลายมิติ โดยมุ่งต่อยอดจากองค์ความรู้ทางวิชาการไปสู่การพัฒนานโยบาย นวัตกรรม และแนวทางการจัดการปัญหาสิ่งแวดล้อมที่สามารถนำไปประยุกต์ใช้ได้ทั้งในระดับพื้นที่ ระดับประเทศ และระดับนานาชาติ

นอกจากนี้ รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ชีระวิทย์ รัตนพันธ์ รองผู้อำนวยการฝ่ายวิจัยและวิชาการ สถาบันพัฒนาสุขภาพอาเซียน ร่วมเสวนาใน Round Table B: Regional Environmental Governance and Air Quality ภายใต้หัวข้อ “AI-Assisted Harmonised Emission Inventory Framework for Transboundary Air Quality Governance in Southeast Asia” ซึ่งมุ่งแลกเปลี่ยนมุมมองและแนวทางการประยุกต์ใช้ AI เพื่อพัฒนากรอบการจัดทำบัญชีการปล่อยมลพิษที่มีความสอดคล้องกัน และสนับสนุนการกำกับดูแลคุณภาพอากาศข้ามพรมแดนในภูมิภาคเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้

การประชุมครั้งนี้เกิดขึ้นจากความร่วมมือระหว่าง สถาบันพัฒนาสุขภาพอาเซียน มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล (AIHD), Taiwan Association for Sustainable Development of Environment and Resources (TASDER) และ ESG Service Corporation Association of Thailand โดยมีเป้าหมายในการสร้างพื้นที่แลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้ ประสบการณ์ และแนวปฏิบัติจากผู้เชี่ยวชาญและเครือข่ายนานาชาติ ภายใต้แนวคิด “AI for Good” ที่มุ่งส่งเสริมการใช้ปัญญาประดิษฐ์ (Artificial Intelligence: AI) อย่างสร้างสรรค์ มีความรับผิดชอบ และคำนึงถึงผลกระทบต่อสังคมและสิ่งแวดล้อม เพื่อร่วมกันสร้างคุณค่าต่อการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน

การมีส่วนร่วมของคณาจารย์ AIHD ในเวทีดังกล่าว สะท้อนบทบาทของสถาบันฯ ในการ เชื่อมโยงองค์ความรู้ด้านสุขภาพ สิ่งแวดล้อม วิทยาศาสตร์ข้อมูล และเทคโนโลยี พร้อมส่งเสริมการวิจัยแบบบูรณาการและการสร้างองค์ความรู้ข้ามศาสตร์ เพื่อสนับสนุนการพัฒนานโยบายและแนวทางแก้ไขปัญหาที่ตอบสนองต่อบริบทของภูมิภาคและประชาคมโลก ตลอดจนขับเคลื่อนเป้าหมายการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน (Sustainable Development Goals: SDGs)

AIHD Advances Data Science and AI for Environmental and Sustainability Research

On 21 August 2026, Dr. Suhaimi Buya, Lecturer at the ASEAN Institute for Health Development (AIHD), Mahidol University, shared his expertise on “Data Science Application in Environmental and Sustainability Research” at the international academic conference “AI for Good 2026: Global Sustainability Summit.” His presentation highlighted the potential of data science to advance environmental and sustainability research, emphasizing the role of data, technology, and innovation in addressing today’s complex global environmental challenges.

The application of Data Science in environmental research extends beyond data collection and analysis. It is a critical process for transforming complex and diverse datasets into evidence-based insights that can help identify trends, analyze contributing factors, predict emerging situations, and support more effective and informed decision-making.

This approach reflects the direction of modern research, which increasingly seeks to integrate science, technology, and data to enhance the understanding of complex and interconnected environmental challenges. It also aims to translate academic knowledge into policies, innovations, and practical solutions that can be applied at the local, national, and international levels.

In addition, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cheerawit Rattanapan, Deputy Director for Research and Academic Affairs, ASEAN Institute for Health Development, participated in Round Table B: Regional Environmental Governance and Air Quality, under the topic “AI-Assisted Harmonised Emission Inventory Framework for Transboundary Air Quality Governance in Southeast Asia.” The session focused on exchanging perspectives and approaches to applying AI in the development of harmonised emission inventory frameworks, supporting more effective transboundary air quality governance across Southeast Asia.

The conference was jointly organized through collaboration among the ASEAN Institute for Health Development, Mahidol University (AIHD), Taiwan Association for Sustainable Development of Environment and Resources (TASDER), and the ESG Service Corporation Association of Thailand. The event provided an international platform for exchanging knowledge, experiences, and practices among experts and networks from different countries under the concept of “AI for Good.” The initiative promotes the creative and responsible use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) while considering its impacts on society and the environment, with the aim of creating meaningful value for sustainable development.

The participation of AIHD faculty members in this international forum reflects the Institute’s commitment to connecting health, environmental science, data science, and technology while promoting interdisciplinary research and knowledge generation. These efforts contribute to the development of evidence-informed policies and solutions that respond to regional and global challenges and support the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

วันที่ 21 สิงหาคม 2569 สถาบันพัฒนาสุขภาพอาเซียน มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล ร่วมกับ Taiwan Association for Sustainable Development of Environment and Resources (TASDER) และ ESG Service Corporation Association of Thailand เดินหน้าสร้างความร่วมมือทางวิชาการระดับนานาชาติ ผ่านเวทีประชุมวิชาการระดับนานาชาติ ภายใต้หัวข้อ "AI for Good 2026: Global Sustainability Summit" เพื่อส่งเสริมการประยุกต์ใช้ปัญญาประดิษฐ์ (Artificial Intelligence: AI) ในการขับเคลื่อนการพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืน

การประชุมเริ่มต้นด้วยการกล่าวรายงานโดย รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ธันวดี สุขสาโรจน์ ผู้อำนวยการสถาบันพัฒนาสุขภาพอาเซียน มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล จากนั้นได้รับเกียรติจากศาสตราจารย์ นายแพทย์ปิยะมิตร ศรีธรา อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล กล่าวต้อนรับผู้เข้าร่วมประชุม พร้อมด้วยศาสตราจารย์ Tzu-Yi Pai, Board Member, TASDER การประชุมวิชาการครั้งนี้สะท้อนถึงความสำคัญของการสร้างเครือข่ายความร่วมมือทางวิชาการระหว่างประเทศ เพื่อร่วมกันขับเคลื่อนการใช้ AI อย่างสร้างสรรค์ มีจริยธรรม และรับผิดชอบต่อสังคม

ในช่วง Keynote Session ได้รับเกียรติจากผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านสิ่งแวดล้อม เทคโนโลยี และวิทยาศาสตร์ข้อมูลร่วมถ่ายทอดองค์ความรู้และมุมมองสำคัญ โดยศาสตราจารย์ ดร. Arnis Asmat, Faculty of Applied Sciences, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Malaysia และ President, The Clean Air Forum Society of Malaysia (MyCAS) นำเสนอหัวข้อ “Conceptualising an AI-Assisted Harmonised Emission Inventory Framework for Transboundary Air Quality Governance in Southeast Asia” ซึ่งนำเสนอแนวคิดการใช้ AI เพื่อพัฒนาระบบฐานข้อมูลการปล่อยมลพิษที่มีความสอดคล้องกัน และสนับสนุนการกำกับดูแลคุณภาพอากาศข้ามพรมแดนในภูมิภาคเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ และดร.ซูไฮมี บูยา อาจารย์ประจำสถาบันพัฒนาสุขภาพอาเซียน มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล ร่วมถ่ายทอดองค์ความรู้ในหัวข้อ “Data Science Application in Environmental and Sustainability Research” สะท้อนบทบาทของวิทยาศาสตร์ข้อมูลในการสนับสนุนงานวิจัยด้านสิ่งแวดล้อมและการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน ตอกย้ำความสำคัญของการบูรณาการเทคโนโลยีเข้ากับงานวิจัยเพื่อสร้างองค์ความรู้ที่สามารถนำไปใช้ประโยชน์ได้จริง

นอกจากนี้ ได้มีการแลกเปลี่ยนมุมมองและประสบการณ์ระหว่างนักวิชาการ ผ่านเวที AI for Good Flagship Round Table โดยแบ่งการแลกเปลี่ยนออกเป็น 3 ประเด็นสำคัญ ได้แก่

Round Table A: Sustainable Industry and Net-Zero Supply Chains ภายใต้หัวข้อ “AI-Assisted Environmental Impact Assessment and Net-Zero Supply Chains: Transforming the PCB Industry toward Sustainable Manufacturing”

Round Table B: Regional Environmental Governance and Air Quality ภายใต้หัวข้อ “AI-Assisted Harmonised Emission Inventory Framework for Transboundary Air Quality Governance in Southeast Asia”

Round Table C: AI, ESG and Future Education ภายใต้หัวข้อ “ESG and Innovative Education in the Age of Artificial Intelligence”

การแลกเปลี่ยนดังกล่าวครอบคลุมตั้งแต่ AI-assisted Environmental Impact Assessment, PCB Industry Sustainability, ESG Manufacturing และ Net-Zero Supply Chains ไปจนถึงการจัดการมลพิษทางอากาศข้ามพรมแดน ธรรมาภิบาลสิ่งแวดล้อมระดับภูมิภาค การรู้เท่าทัน AI การศึกษาเพื่อ ESG และ Future Skills สะท้อนให้เห็นถึงความจำเป็นของการบูรณาการ AI เข้ากับภาคอุตสาหกรรม สิ่งแวดล้อม การศึกษา และการกำหนดนโยบาย เพื่อสร้างการเปลี่ยนแปลงที่นำไปสู่ความยั่งยืนในระดับภูมิภาคและระดับโลก

ในการประชุมครั้งนี้ มีการนำเสนอผลงานวิจัยใน 4 ประเด็นหลัก ได้แก่ AI for Sustainable Environment and Smart Cities, AI for Inclusive Society and Human Development, AI for Health, Well-being and Community Resilience และ Responsible AI, Ethics and Human-Centered Innovation สะท้อนให้เห็นถึงศักยภาพของ AI ในการเชื่อมโยงเทคโนโลยีกับสิ่งแวดล้อม สุขภาพ การพัฒนาสังคม และการกำกับดูแลอย่างมีจริยธรรม

การมีส่วนร่วมในเวทีครั้งนี้ไม่เพียงเป็นการสนับสนุนการแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้ด้าน AI เท่านั้น แต่ยังเป็นโอกาสสำคัญในการเชื่อมโยงเครือข่าย ด้านสุขภาพ สิ่งแวดล้อม การพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน และความร่วมมือระดับนานาชาติ ให้เกิดการเรียนรู้ร่วมกันและต่อยอดสู่ความร่วมมือใหม่ ๆ ในอนาคต โดยเฉพาะการประยุกต์ใช้ AI เพื่อรับมือกับความท้าทายด้านสุขภาพและสิ่งแวดล้อมของภูมิภาคอาเซียน

เวที AI for Good 2026: Global Sustainability Summit มุ่งสร้าง “ความร่วมมือเพื่อการเปลี่ยนแปลง” ผ่านการเชื่อมโยงนักวิชาการ นักวิจัย ผู้เชี่ยวชาญ และเครือข่ายจากนานาประเทศ เพื่อผลักดันให้ AI เป็นเครื่องมือที่ช่วยสร้างระบบสุขภาพที่มีประสิทธิภาพ ลดความเหลื่อมล้ำ สนับสนุนการจัดการสิ่งแวดล้อม และยกระดับคุณภาพชีวิตของประชาชนอย่างทั่วถึงและยั่งยืน

AIHD Joins International Partners to Advance “AI for Good” Toward a Sustainable Future

On 21 August 2026, The ASEAN Institute for Health Development (AIHD), Mahidol University, in collaboration with the Taiwan Association for Sustainable Development of Environment and Resources (TASDER) and the ESG Service Corporation Association of Thailand, has strengthened international academic collaboration through the international conference “AI for Good 2026: Global Sustainability Summit,” aimed at promoting the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to advance sustainable development.

The conference commenced with a report delivered by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thunwadee Suksaroj, Director of the ASEAN Institute for Health Development, Mahidol University. This was followed by a welcome address from Prof. Dr. Piyamitr Sritra, President of Mahidol University, together with Prof. Tzu-Yi Pai, Board Member of TASDER. The conference highlighted the importance of building international academic networks to collectively promote the creative, ethical, and socially responsible use of AI.

During the Keynote Session, distinguished experts in environmental science, technology, and data science shared their knowledge and perspectives. Prof. Dr. Arnis Asmat, Faculty of Applied Sciences, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Malaysia, and President of The Clean Air Forum Society of Malaysia (MyCAS), delivered a keynote presentation entitled “Conceptualising an AI-Assisted Harmonised Emission Inventory Framework for Transboundary Air Quality Governance in Southeast Asia.” The presentation explored the use of AI to develop a harmonised emissions inventory database and support transboundary air quality governance across Southeast Asia.

In addition, Dr. Suhaimi Buya, lecturer at the ASEAN Institute for Health Development, Mahidol University, shared insights on “Data Science Application in Environmental and Sustainability Research,” highlighting the role of data science in supporting environmental and sustainability research. The session further underscored the importance of integrating technology with research to generate knowledge that can be effectively translated into practical applications.

The summit also provided a platform for academics to exchange perspectives and experiences through the AI for Good Flagship Round Table, featuring three key discussion themes:

The discussions covered a broad range of topics, from AI-assisted Environmental Impact Assessment, PCB Industry Sustainability, ESG Manufacturing, and Net-Zero Supply Chains to transboundary air pollution management, regional environmental governance, AI literacy, ESG-oriented education, and future skills. These discussions demonstrated the growing need to integrate AI across industry, environmental management, education, and policymaking in order to drive sustainable transformation at both regional and global levels.

The conference also featured research presentations across four key themes: AI for Sustainable Environment and Smart Cities; AI for Inclusive Society and Human Development; AI for Health, Well-being and Community Resilience; and Responsible AI, Ethics and Human-Centered Innovation. These themes reflected the potential of AI to bridge technology with environmental protection, health, social development, and ethical governance.

Participation in this international forum not only supported knowledge exchange on AI but also provided an important opportunity to strengthen networks across health, environmental sustainability, sustainable development, and international cooperation. It fostered opportunities for collective learning and laid the groundwork for new collaborations in the future, particularly in applying AI to address emerging health and environmental challenges across the ASEAN region.

The AI for Good 2026: Global Sustainability Summit seeks to foster “collaboration for transformative change” by connecting academics, researchers, experts, and international networks to advance AI as a tool for building more effective health systems, reducing inequalities, supporting environmental management, and improving the quality of life for people in an inclusive and sustainable manner.

The summit marks another significant milestone for the ASEAN Institute for Health Development and its partners in connecting the power of AI with the power of international collaboration. Together, they aim to shape a future in which technological advancement is not pursued for its own sake, but is harnessed to promote better health and well-being, more inclusive societies, and a sustainable world for all.

AIHD Holds Academic Collaboration Meeting with Prof. Luciano Saso from Sapienza University, Italy

On August 17, 2026, the ASEAN Institute for Health Development (AIHD), led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thanwadee Suksaroj, Director of the ASEAN Institute for Health Development, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Piyapong Janmaimool, Deputy Director for Strategy and International Relations, held an online meeting with Prof. Luciano Saso, Former Deputy Rector of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Medicine, Sapienza University, Italy.

Both parties discussed potential avenues for academic collaboration, particularly the appointment of Prof. Saso as an Adjunct Professor of the Institute. This role would support the exchange of academic knowledge and expertise, as well as promote collaboration in research, health systems, digital technology, and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Such collaboration will contribute to advancing knowledge and innovation in the field of health and help ensure that academic development keeps pace with the rapid changes in technology.

AIHD-MU Menggelar Pertemuan Kerja Sama Akademik dengan Prof. Luciano Saso dari Sapienza University, Italia

Pada tanggal 17 Agustus 2026, AIHD-MU yang dipimpin oleh Dr. Thanwadee Suksaroj, Direktur AIHD-MU; dan Dr. Piyapong Janmaimool, Deputi Direktur Strategi dan Hubungan Internasional, mengadakan pertemuan daring dengan Prof. Luciano Saso, Mantan Deputi Direktur Fakultas Farmasi dan Kedokteran, Sapienza University, Italia.

Kedua belah pihak membahas peluang kerja sama akademik, khususnya penunjukan Prof. Saso sebagai Adjunct Professor di AIHD-MU. Peran ini akan mendukung pertukaran pengetahuan akademik dan keahlian, serta mendorong kolaborasi dalam bidang penelitian, sistem kesehatan, teknologi digital, dan Kecerdasan Buatan (AI). สถาบันพัฒนาสุขภาพอาเซียนจัดบรรยายพิเศษในหัวข้อ “Paradigm Shift: Health for All to Health by All”

วันที่ 17 สิงหาคม 2569 สถาบันพัฒนาสุขภาพอาเซียน มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล จัดการบรรยายพิเศษในรูปแบบออนไลน์ หัวข้อ “Paradigm Shift: Health for All to Health by All” เพื่อแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้เกี่ยวกับสมรรถนะการดำเนินชีวิตของชุมชน นวัตกรรมด้านการส่งเสริมสุขภาพ และแนวทางใหม่ในการสร้างสุขภาพและความเป็นอยู่ที่ดี โดยมีนักศึกษาและบุคลากรเข้าร่วมกิจกรรม รวมทั้งสิ้น 28 คน

การบรรยายพิเศษได้รับเกียรติจาก Prof. Jean-Louis Lamboray ศาสตราจารย์พิเศษ สถาบันพัฒนาสุขภาพอาเซียน พร้อมด้วยวิทยากรผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ ได้แก่ Prof. Jean-Marie Mbuyi, Prof. Bernard Rentier, Dr. Eric Boydens และ Ms. Pauline Steisel ซึ่งได้ร่วมถ่ายทอดประสบการณ์และองค์ความรู้จากการดำเนินงานด้านสาธารณสุขในหลากหลายรูปแบบ พร้อมแนะนำแนวคิดสำคัญ อาทิ แนวทาง Syndemic Approach ตลอดจนแนวคิดด้านสุขภาวะ (Wellness) และรูปแบบ Eco-village ซึ่งเป็นแนวทางสู่การพัฒนาชุมชนที่มีสุขภาพดีและยั่งยืน

ภายหลังการนำเสนอทั้ง 4 หัวข้อ Prof. Lamboray ได้จัดกิจกรรมแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นร่วมกับนักศึกษา โดยเปิดโอกาสให้นักศึกษาร่วมค้นหาแนวคิดหรือประเด็นสำคัญที่เชื่อมโยงการนำเสนอของวิทยากรทั้ง 4 ท่านเข้าด้วยกัน พร้อมทั้งแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับจุดแข็งและประเด็นที่น่าสนใจจากการนำเสนอของวิทยากรแต่ละท่าน

จากนั้น Prof. Lamboray ได้สรุปสาระสำคัญของการบรรยายผ่านแนวคิด “การเปลี่ยนกระบวนทัศน์จาก Health for All สู่ Health by All” โดยชี้ให้เห็นถึงความจำเป็นในการปรับเปลี่ยนจากแนวคิดดั้งเดิมที่มุ่งส่งมอบบริการและการดูแลด้านสุขภาพให้แก่ประชากร ไปสู่แนวทางที่เปิดโอกาสให้ ชุมชนเป็นผู้มีบทบาทสำคัญและเป็นพลังขับเคลื่อนสุขภาพและความเป็นอยู่ที่ดีของตนเอง โดยประสบการณ์ของวิทยากรทั้ง 4 ท่านสะท้อนให้เห็นถึงการเปลี่ยนแปลงดังกล่าวอย่างเป็นรูปธรรม

การบรรยายพิเศษครั้งนี้นับเป็นเวทีสำคัญที่เปิดโอกาสให้นักศึกษาและบุคลากรได้เรียนรู้และแลกเปลี่ยนประสบการณ์กับผู้เชี่ยวชาญระดับนานาชาติ เสริมสร้างความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับแนวทางการพัฒนาสุขภาพที่มีชุมชนเป็นศูนย์กลางและมองสุขภาพแบบองค์รวม ตลอดจนเรียนรู้แนวคิดและนวัตกรรมที่สามารถนำไปประยุกต์ใช้ในการวิจัยและการปฏิบัติงาน ทั้งนี้ องค์ความรู้และมุมมองที่ได้รับจะเป็นส่วนสำคัญในการเสริมสร้างศักยภาพของผู้เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมในการรับมือกับความท้าทายด้านสุขภาพที่มีความซับซ้อน ผ่านมุมมองแบบสหวิทยาการและการมีส่วนร่วมของชุมชนเป็นสำคัญ

ASEAN Institute for Health Development Hosts Special Lecture on "Paradigm Shift: Health for All to Health by All"

On 17 August 2026, the ASEAN Institute for Health Development (AIHD), Mahidol University, organized a special online lecture entitled "Paradigm Shift: Health for All to Health by All," exploring community life competence, innovative public health interventions, and new approaches to health and well-being. The lecture was attended by students and faculty members, with a total of 28 participants.

The session was officially opened with welcome remarks by Dr. Kwang Mo Yang, Faculty Member and Manager of the Centre of Global Health, ASEAN Institute for Health Development.

The special lecture was led by Prof. Jean-Louis Lamboray, Adjunct Professor at AIHD, together with a distinguished panel of speakers, including Prof. Jean-Marie Mbuyi, Prof. Bernard Rentier, Dr. Eric Boydens, and Ms. Pauline Steisel. The speakers shared their extensive experience in various public health interventions and introduced participants to key concepts, including the syndemic approach as well as wellness and the eco-village model as a pathway toward sustainable and healthy communities.

Following the four presentations, Prof. Lamboray facilitated an interactive reflection session with the students, inviting them to identify the common thread running through all four presentations and to share the strengths they observed in each speaker.

Prof. Lamboray then concluded the lecture by presenting the overarching theme of the session the paradigm shift from "Health for All" to "Health by All." He illustrated how the traditional model of delivering health to populations must evolve into one where communities themselves become active agents of their own health and well-being, drawing on the experiences shared by all four speakers as living examples of this transformation in action.

The special lecture provided an invaluable platform for students and faculty members to engage with leading international experts, deepen their understanding of community-based and holistic approaches to public health, and explore innovative concepts that can be applied in their own research and practice. The insights gained from the session will contribute to strengthening participants' capacity to address complex health challenges through interdisciplinary and community-centered perspectives.

AIHD-MU Menyelenggarakan Kuliah Khusus Bertajuk “Pergeseran Paradigma: Kesehatan untuk Semua Menuju Kesehatan oleh Semua”

Pada tanggal 17 Agustus 2026, AIHD-MU menyelenggarakan kuliah daring khusus berjudul “Pergeseran Paradigma: Dari Kesehatan untuk Semua Menuju Kesehatan oleh Semua,” yang membahas kompetensi kehidupan masyarakat, intervensi kesehatan masyarakat yang inovatif, serta pendekatan baru terhadap kesehatan dan kesejahteraan. Kuliah ini dihadiri oleh mahasiswa dan staf akademik sejumlah 28 peserta.
Sesi ini secara resmi dibuka dengan sambutan oleh Dr. Kwang Mo Yang, staf akademik dan Manajer Pusat Kesehatan Global, AIHD-MU.

Kuliah khusus ini dipimpin oleh Prof. Jean-Louis Lamboray, Adjunct Professor AIHD-MU; bersama panel pembicara, yaitu Prof. Jean-Marie Mbuyi, Prof. Bernard Rentier, Dr. Eric Boydens, dan Pauline Steisel. Para pembicara berbagi pengalaman luas mereka dalam berbagai intervensi kesehatan masyarakat dan memperkenalkan konsep-konsep kunci kepada para peserta, termasuk pendekatan sindemik serta kesejahteraan dan model desa ekologi sebagai jalan menuju komunitas yang berkelanjutan dan sehat.
Setelah keempat presentasi tersebut, Prof. Lamboray memfasilitasi sesi refleksi interaktif bersama para mahasiswa, mengajak mereka untuk mengidentifikasi benang merah yang menghubungkan keempat presentasi tersebut dan berbagi kelebihan yang mereka amati dari masing-masing pembicara.
Prof. Lamboray kemudian menutup kuliah tersebut dengan memaparkan tema utama sesi ini, yaitu pergeseran paradigma dari “Kesehatan untuk Semua” menjadi “Kesehatan oleh Semua.” Beliau mengilustrasikan bagaimana model tradisional dalam penyediaan layanan kesehatan bagi masyarakat harus berkembang menjadi model di mana komunitas itu sendiri menjadi agen aktif bagi kesehatan dan kesejahteraan mereka sendiri, dengan mengacu pada pengalaman yang dibagikan oleh keempat pembicara sebagai contoh nyata dari transformasi ini dalam praktiknya.

Kuliah khusus ini menyediakan platform yang sangat berharga bagi mahasiswa dan staf akademik untuk berinteraksi dengan para pakar internasional, memperdalam pemahaman tentang pendekatan berbasis masyarakat dan holistik terhadap kesehatan masyarakat, serta mengeksplorasi konsep-konsep inovatif yang dapat diterapkan dalam penelitian dan praktik masing-masing. Wawasan yang diperoleh dari sesi ini akan berkontribusi pada penguatan kapasitas para peserta untuk mengatasi tantangan kesehatan yang kompleks melalui perspektif interdisipliner dan berpusat pada masyarakat.
