Igloo Studio are seeking a senior level Unity VFX supervisor for a to be announced kick butt gaming project. This is a temporary position but will include the option to join the Igloo team full time pending completion of probationary period.

Requirements:
-a good VFX test completed in Unity 5.4 0b16 Pro.
-self driven, good communicator, with a minimum of basic English skills.
-a passion for creating high level vfx for the project.
-willingness to adapt personal work process to fit into the production.

Pluses:
-game or feature level short experience.
-good knowledge of Maya 2017, v-ray 3.05.03 and/or Arnold MtoA 1.4.0.
-good organizational skills in regards to layer, file naming and technical deliveries.

1st Day of Shooting merit ceremony for Selected Topics in TV class with Aj. Saksit and 4th and 3rd year TV students. Aj. Saksit is teaching about film making for TV. The ceremony is to expose the students to the relevant cultural elements of shooting film/TV in Thailand.

Tuesday 4 October, FAA will be hosting A Talk by Mexican Artist Paloma Torres. The presentation will be at 1:30 - 2:30 PM in Room P323. Sponsored in part by The Embassy of Mexico in Thailand, it is an excellent opportunity for students to meet an artist from another culture and learn about her creative process.

Franco-Thai Animation Rendezvous is back again this year. FAA has been a collaborator from the beginning.

Animation student Isree interning at Creative Matters a partner of Studio Hive. Besides learning and designing under Hive's professional artists Isree also became a teacher. She taught painting to high school students awakening an interest that perhaps she wouldn't have known about otherwise!
