วิทยาลัยดุริยางคศิลป์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล ขอแสดงความยินดีกับ ผศ.ดร.วิศุวัฒน์ พฤกษวานิช อาจารย์ประจำภาควิชาแซกโซโฟน และ อาจารย์ปิยพล อัศวกาญจนกิจ อาจารย์พิเศษภาควิชาแซกโซโฟน ในโอกาสร่วมแสดงคอนเสิร์ต “Thai & Japan Saxophone Friendship Concert 2026” ณ Ishimori Wind Instruments Event Space กรุงโตเกียว ประเทศญี่ปุ่น เมื่อวันที่ 9 สิงหาคม 2569 ที่ผ่านมา

คอนเสิร์ตครั้งนี้จัดขึ้นภายใต้แนวคิด “จุดศูนย์รวมของดนตรีแจ๊ส คลาสสิก และเวิลด์มิวสิก” (ジャズとクラシックとワールドミュージックの集中点) ถ่ายทอดความหลากหลายของดนตรีผ่านการบรรเลงแซกโซโฟนในรูปแบบ Solo, Duet, Trio, Quartet และ Quintet

การแสดงครั้งนี้เป็นเวทีแห่งการแลกเปลี่ยนทางดนตรีระหว่างประเทศไทยและประเทศญี่ปุ่น โดยมีศิลปินและนักประพันธ์จากทั้งสองประเทศร่วมถ่ายทอดบทเพลง ได้แก่ ดร.ภาธร ศรีการานนท์ (Pathorn Srikaranonda) พร้อมด้วยนักแซกโซโฟนชาวญี่ปุ่น Miki Kobodera, Shinichi Miyazaki และ Mei Kagawa

บทเพลงที่นำเสนอครอบคลุมทั้งผลงานคลาสสิกและบทประพันธ์ร่วมสมัย อาทิ Gershwin Selection โดย George Gershwin, Karn [กาล] และ Bun Leng Rock Fantasia โดย ผศ.ดร.วิศุวัฒน์ พฤกษวานิช, Muay Thai Referee และ Quintet โดย ดร.ภาธร ศรีการานนท์ รวมถึง Poulenc: Trio โดย Francis Poulenc

การร่วมแสดงในครั้งนี้นับเป็นอีกหนึ่งโอกาสสำคัญในการส่งเสริมการแลกเปลี่ยนทางดนตรีและวัฒนธรรมในระดับนานาชาติ พร้อมสะท้อนศักยภาพของคณาจารย์และศิลปินจากประเทศไทยบนเวทีดนตรีระดับสากล

🎷✨ Faculty Spotlight | Thai & Japan Saxophone Friendship Concert 2026

The College of Music, Mahidol University, congratulates Asst. Prof. Dr. Wisuwat Pruksavanich, full-time faculty member, and Lect. Piyaphon Asawakarnjanakit, adjunct faculty member of the Saxophone Department, on their participation in the “Thai & Japan Saxophone Friendship Concert 2026” at Ishimori Wind Instruments Event Space in Tokyo, Japan, on 9 August 2026.

Held under the theme “A Convergence of Jazz, Classical, and World Music” (ジャズとクラシックとワールドミュージックの集中点), the concert showcased the versatility of the saxophone through Solo, Duet, Trio, Quartet, and Quintet performances.

The concert provided a meaningful platform for musical and cultural exchange between Thailand and Japan, featuring distinguished artists and composers from both countries, including Dr. Pathorn Srikaranonda, alongside Japanese saxophonists Miki Kobodera, Shinichi Miyazaki, and Mei Kagawa.

The program featured a diverse selection of classical and contemporary works, including Gershwin Selection by George Gershwin, Karn [กาล] and Bun Leng Rock Fantasia by Asst. Prof. Dr. Wisuwat Pruksavanich, Muay Thai Referee and Quintet by Dr. Pathorn Srikaranonda, and Poulenc: Trio by Francis Poulenc.

This international performance represents another valuable opportunity to strengthen musical and cultural exchange between Thailand and Japan while showcasing the artistic excellence of Thai musicians on the international stage.

วิทยาลัยดุริยางคศิลป์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล ร่วมกับวงดุริยางค์ฟีลฮาร์โมนิกแห่งประเทศไทย (Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra: TPO) จัดกิจกรรม Calls for Schools ณ หอประชุมมหิดลสิทธาคาร เมื่อวันที่ 15 สิงหาคม 2569 เปิดโอกาสให้นักเรียนและเยาวชนไทยร่วมสัมผัสประสบการณ์คอนเสิร์ตระดับสากลผ่านโปรแกรม TPO Experience: Master Works Series โดยมีคณาจารย์และนักเรียนจาก 4 สถาบันการศึกษา รวม 131 คน เข้าร่วม ได้แก่ โรงเรียนรุ่งอรุณ, International Community School Bangkok, วิทยาลัยนาฏศิลป์เชียงใหม่ และวงดนตรีอิมมานูเอล

🎻✨ Calls for Schools | Bringing World-Class Music Experiences to Young Audiences

The College of Music, Mahidol University, in collaboration with the Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra (TPO), hosted the Calls for Schools program at Prince Mahidol Hall on 15 August 2026, giving Thai students and young audiences the opportunity to experience a world-class orchestral concert through the TPO Experience: Master Works Series.

A total of 131 students and faculty members from four educational institutions participated in the program: Roong Aroon School, International Community School Bangkok, Chiang Mai College of Dramatic Arts, and Emmanuel Music Band.

🎶 A Powerful and Colorful Journey with Don Quixote

The program invited students and audiences to experience the captivating world of Don Quixote, featuring an outstanding performance by internationally acclaimed cellist Li-Wei Qin, who brought extraordinary depth, energy, and expression to Richard Strauss’s Don Quixote. Under the baton of Maestro Carl St.Clair, the Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra brought the entire program to life with power and artistry.

From Mozart’s Don Giovanni Overture, through Strauss’s Don Quixote, to the dazzling colors of Rimsky-Korsakov’s Capriccio espagnole, the concert took audiences on a vivid musical journey filled with drama, imagination, and emotion—while inspiring the next generation through meaningful encounters with live music.

Our sincere thanks to all the teachers, students, and audiences who joined us and helped create this meaningful musical experience, supporting a space where music can inspire learning, imagination, and new possibilities. 💚🎶
