😎Special session to PC4&MP students for a journey towards MUIC pathway “PC4/MP Next Adventure-Q1/2026” 💡

🔹On February 16, 2026, PC4 and MP students had the valuable opportunity to receive essential information to help prepare for their academic journey toward Mahidol University International College (MUIC). The session was designed to support students in taking the next step after completing their academic programs at PC4 and MP.

🔹The event was both engaging and insightful, highlighting the timeline from PC to MUIC, detailed planning for academic advancement, and—most memorably—experience-sharing moments from current MUIC students and distinguished PC alumni— Ms.Thansinee Saithong (ICMF), Ms.Phakkamon Thaenthaisong (ICIR), and Ms.Sitanun Jarupat (ICCD) Their topics were useful for all PC students, which included experiences as PC & MUIC students, orientation importance, MUIC courses and curriculum, self-management for SKY registration, MUIC tools, extra activities: Rub-Nong,On Fun Day, and AT hour.

🔹The speakers’ genuine insights and enthusiasm made the session not only informative but also memorable. It strengthened the sense of community and connection between current PC students and alumni, fostering meaningful relationships between juniors and seniors.

Advancing Academic Standards: Dr. Wadden Gives Professional Development Workshop for PC Instructors

On Monday, February 9, 2026, the Preparation Center for Languages and Mathematics (PC) held an academic workshop for instructors titled “Building a Strong Vocabulary Foundation for First-Year University Students.” It was given by Dr. Paul Wadden, a Specially Appointed Professor in the Faculty of International Liberal Arts at Juntendo University in Tokyo, Japan.

Dr. Wadden is a renowned expert in English language teaching. His relationship with PC dates back to 2008, when he assisted with an in-depth curriculum revision, and he has remained a close collaborator ever since.

The workshop focused on curriculum development and pedagogy centered on the importance of second language learners acquiring sufficient English vocabulary early in their higher-education experience. The workshop included a productive discussion of current practices as well as possible areas for improvement.

The event was a valuable opportunity not only to enhance our instructors' professional knowledge but also to strengthen the institutional partnership between PC and Juntendo University. We would like to thank Dr. Wadden for his ongoing contributions to PC.

MUIC Community Gathers for a Memorial Service in Remembrance of Dr. Charles E. Windish

On January 28, 2026, in Charinyarasami Hall in the Aditayathorn Building, MUIC held a memorial service in remembrance of Dr. Charles E. Windish, a valued member of our community who touched many lives through kindness and friendship, as well as his commitment to education.

Community members, family, and friends gathered to honor and remember Dr. Windish. It was a space for collective healing and reflection on his legacy and the meaningful impact he had on colleagues, students, and MUIC as a whole.

The service included a reading of a brief biography of Dr. Windish, a thoughtful video presentation with photographs and short videos of his life over recent decades, the heartfelt delivery of remembrance messages from several colleagues close to him, and a moment of silence to provide attendees with time to reflect and pay their respects.

The memorial service concluded with a message of hope, reminding those present that remembrance keeps loved ones alive in our hearts and minds, and that unity and compassion will help guide the community forward.

Overall, it was a meaningful opportunity for attendees to share their cherished memories of Dr. Windish, with dozens of lovely photographs of his time at MUIC and his life in Thailand displayed around the space.
