Mahidol Music Journal is pleased to announce that our articles are now indexed in the Scopus database, the world’s leading abstract and citation platform for peer-reviewed research. All content published since 2021 has been included, greatly expanding the international visibility and impact of music scholarship from Thailand and the region.

The journal invites submissions in Thai and English across a wide range of music-related disciplines, including musicology, ethnomusicology, composition, performance, music education, music therapy, music technology, and other interdisciplinary areas.

(English below) 📚 วิทยาลัยดุริยางคศิลป์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล ขอแสดงความยินดีอย่างยิ่งกับ วารสาร Mahidol Music Journal - MMJ ในโอกาสที่ได้รับการตอบรับให้จัดทำดัชนีในฐานข้อมูล Scopus อย่างเป็นทางการ เมื่อวันที่ 7 มิถุนายน 2568 🎉

ความสำเร็จในครั้งนี้เป็นอีกก้าวสำคัญในการยกระดับการวิจัยทางดนตรี และสร้างความเชื่อมโยงในแวดวงวิชาการทั้งในระดับประเทศและระดับนานาชาติ

ความสำเร็จนี้เกิดจากความทุ่มเทร่วมกันของทีมกองบรรณาธิการ ผู้ส่งบทความ ผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ และพันธมิตรทุกภาคส่วน เราขอขอบคุณโครงการความร่วมมือ TCI-TSRI-Scopus (ระยะที่ 2, พ.ศ. 2566–2569), ศูนย์ดัชนีการอ้างอิงวารสารไทย (TCI) และคณะกรรมการ ที่ให้การสนับสนุน คำแนะนำ และข้อเสนอแนะที่มีคุณค่าในการพัฒนาวารสารอย่างต่อเนื่อง

ขณะนี้วารสารกำลังอยู่ระหว่างการดำเนินการด้านลิขสิทธิ์ร่วมกับ Scopus เพื่อเข้าสู่กระบวนการจัดทำดัชนีอย่างสมบูรณ์ และเราจะแจ้งข้อมูลอัปเดตเพิ่มเติมให้แก่ชุมชนของเราต่อไป

The College of Music, Mahidol University proudly congratulates the Mahidol Music Journal on being accepted into Scopus, one of the world’s leading academic databases, under the TCI–TSRI–Scopus Collaboration Project Phase 2 (2023–2026).

📚 We are delighted to share that the Mahidol Music Journal has been officially accepted for inclusion in the Scopus database as of June 7, 2025 🎉

This milestone marks a significant step forward in advancing music research and enhancing the visibility of high-quality scholarship on both national and international platforms.

This achievement reflects the dedication and collaboration of our editorial team, contributors, reviewers, and partners. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the TCI-TSRI-Scopus Collaboration Project (Phase 2, 2023–26), the Thai-Journal Citation Index (TCI) Center, and the Local Board for their steadfast support, expert guidance, and invaluable feedback throughout the evaluation process.

We are currently working with Scopus to finalize licensing arrangements for content indexing, and we will share further updates as the process continues.

To all who have contributed—authors, reviewers, and our editorial board—thank you for being part of this journey. We look forward to the continued growth of music scholarship and collaboration in the global academic community.
