2021 Christmas Day A busy day driving Santa to schools and kindergartens in Hastings City . ..

Today Hastings District Youth Council attended a zoom Conference call from Shandong Province to observe the Global Youth Conference....a very appreciated experience from the students .

My friend is in New Zealand,he did writing says “My float survived the rain storm and today the Parade was held in fine weather...the biggest crowd in 50 years crammed into the City to enjoy the event.
​The float looked so colorful and with three gorgeous Chinese ladies dressed in Zhuang ethnic costume and two young Chinese children on the rear of the float drew rousing applause from the huge crowd. Sun Pagoda looked great.
​After the parade finished at the prizewinning ceremony it was judged this float won best blossom decorated float in the parade....very happy and tonight maybe enjoy a long sleep.[偷笑]”

In New Zealand Spring is here...the sun is bright, the sky is clear, the soil is warm...everything is bursting into new life. This afternoon I prepared the front garden at our home, now ready to receive new flower plants in the next day's.

Today Hastings District Council Election results have just been announced.
I have been re elected for an eight consecutive three year term, the longest serving Councillor in the history of Hastings.
I feel very honoured and very humbled.
I do want to say how much I valued all your good wishes prayers and support leading up to the election.
Let's all make the next three years the most memorable yet.
