Dear Parents,

A quick reminder that the Cambridge Young Learner exams are taking place next Thursday 8th February and the KET and PET exams will be held on Saturday 17th February.

If you have registered your child, please check that their names are correctly spelled on the list, within the attached link (Excel file) as these are the names that will be printed on their certificate.

Welcome back everyone! This year is an exciting year for all the students and teachers at Assumption Rama II. We have a lot of new events and programmes lined up including-

• Year 2, Year 4 and Year 5 students will be taking the Cambridge Starter, Movers and Flyers exams with help from their Bell teachers.

• Year 7 and 8 will take the KET and PET exams and will also prepare with Bell teachers.

• Exciting new Secondary after school classes such as Animation, Improv and Debate clubs.

• New English classes with Thai teachers and parents.

• The expansion of the Adult business classes, which will bring additional income into the school.

• The introduction of study holidays in the UK at Bell’s new St Alban’s campus.

Every few weeks we will be adding websites that we think will help students with studying English. This week it is HangMouse, a game for younger learners from the excellent SpellingCity website.

HangMouse Instructions: To play this free hangman word game, click on letters, one at a time, to try and complete the spelling or vocabulary word before the cat catches the mouse! Click the Next button to move on the next word. Be sure to play all the way to the end of HangMouse to become an expert hangman solver and share in the mouse's victory!

Parents can set up HangMouse with lists they have made or use any of the word lists available on our site. This is a fun way for younger learners to practice their spelling and is one of the many helpful applications from www.spellingcity.com
