Frustrated by the lack of interest from the tech industry in engaging older people, Masako Wakamiya at 82, taught herself to code and created her own app. She started attending a computer class, and discovered the ins and outs of Swift programming.

"There were no apps that old people found amusing. I decided to make a game in which old people could beat young people. I thought that arranging dolls for the hinamatsuri would be a good concept.”

Her app, Hinadan, is an iOS game based on Japan's traditional festival Hinamatsuri, or Doll's Day, which is celebrated in early March.

Wakamiya now operates a website full of Excel art tutorials and other guides for senior computer users.

Elon Musk has had a lot to show us over the past 25 years. You've probably heard about some of his greatest inventions that have revolutionized the world in many ways. From reusable rockets to electric cars, the engineer-genius visionary has done things people said couldn’t be done, seeing into the future and bringing it into the present.

The N1, a 4 mm-square chip, packed with electrodes that sends signals to a computer which can read data that's being sent from inside your skull. Hooked to the chip are wires thinner than human hair, placed close to important parts of the brain detecting and recording every impulse and stimulating their own. Musk said the chips could potentially restore nerve function in people who have neurological issues, stimulate the release of chemicals including serotonin and oxytocin, and even play music directly into the human brain.

From Vine to TikTok, today’s world is consuming more and more short-form video content.

Formerly known as Musical.ly, the platform is owned by tech giant ByteDance, which was founded by Chinese digital entrepreneur Zhang Yiming in 2012 and is valued at more than $100 billion. The app was later rebranded as TikTok in 2018, with more than 1 billion active users globally. TikTok allows consumers to record and edit 15-second multi clip videos with audio, effect and a variety of creative editing tools.

Unfortunately, Trump’s administration has raised concerns about the app’s approach to privacy and data, in particular that data about users could be handed over to the Chinese government by parent company, ByteDance.

It has been announced that Sunday, September 20th, new downloads will be blocked from US app store.
