The Puzzlebox Art Studio

We are an art-based social enterprise that mentors talented young Burmese in Mae Sot. Call us at 0831637537 or email [email protected].

From 2011-2013, we teamed up professional Thai, Burmese and foreign artists with young apprentices to build their skills and teach them to create original artwork. Now those young artists are managing the studio and passing their skills on. Our mission is to encourage community integration through art; to help our students get on the path to independent employment in the arts; and to make unique,

beautiful handicrafts that represent a fusion of cultures and styles. Through art, our staff also improve their confidence, creativity, and critical thinking. We aim to cover salaries, studio expenses and art materials entirely through sales--which is NOT easy! We offer:
- Regular batik workshops and occasional ceramics or drawing workshops. Participate individually or schedule a group course- great for organizations or parties! Contact us for information.

- Saturday morning coffee from 9-12: Bring your friends and enjoy a good coffee or delicious baked goods in our garden.

- Custom-made ceramic and batik products. Visit us or check out our photos to see what we can do for you.

Dear Friends,
BORDERLINE SHOP, Mae Sot is going to have a batik class together with PUZZLEBOX ART STUDIO on coming Saturday 26th May. The batik class can handle for four people and we still have two spaces available as we already got two clients. Our batik class is almost take one day and start from 9:00 am.If you are interesting to our Batik Class, please contact to Borderline Shop and make advance registration.

Dear Friends,
Puzzlebox Art Studio is going to have a Batik Class on Sunday 7th May. We are collecting customers for our up coming Batik Class from now. As our space is pretty small we can only accept four customers for a class. If you are interesting in our up coming Batik class please send a message in advance and we will put you in our list. You can also require the Batik class if the date we specify is out of your schedule. Our Batik class is almost the hole day and should start not later than 10 am.
Each customer have to pay Class fee+fabric and the class fee is 900 thai baht per person. The fabric cost are as below-
Shaul -200 baht
Table cloth - 200 baht
Longgyi - 300 baht
Napkin - 50 baht

Dear friends,
Puzzlebox Art Studio is going to have a Batik class on coming Sunday 19th March. So anyone who wants to join to our class can send a confirm message through facebook or email. As our space is not very huge and we can handle up to five persons.
For the Batik class each person has to pay
Class fee + fabric cause
Class fee is 900 bath person
fabric cause is as follow
Shaul 200 baht
Table cloth 200 baht
Launggyi 300 baht
Napkin 50 baht

Now is November! How about your Christmas and New Year Shopping?
Puzzlebox Art Studio is going to have it's annual fundraising sale on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th November. It is a good timing to have your shopping. You will see amazing unique and artistic products this year. As we are having our sale at The Picturebook Guesthouse the sale is from 9 am to 8 pm.
We as Puzzlebox Art Studio invite you to come and make your Christmas and New Year shoppig at our Annual Sale to get excellence artistic presents and gifts for your family, friends and special people.
Students who are having internship at The Picturebook Guesthouse are also selling their aromatic coffee and tasty foods on that days.
