Roots is a performance by Natasha Devalia, with live music by Chawalit Saowapakpongchai, Nopparuj Satjawan, Thakoon Boonma of Yaan Music based in Bangkok, choreographed by Ampinee Suwunsawet. It includes dance, music, art, and poetry. Roots is about choosing to acknowledge and accept the power of our varied backgrounds, and from that acceptance to rise up into the wholeness of freedom in individuality.

This performance is based on three poems, Our Moon, Desert Rose and Roots which belong to a soon to be published award winning poetry pamphlet, Unseen Veins by Natasha Devalia.

Performance on Wednesday May 3rd at 4:30pm. This was to be our stage with Aria. Today we made the film with a recording of her voice. It moved the clouds, the water, both of us, the dogs and all the standers-by. We danced at sunset, on our beach under the tree, just as we had planned to do. 💔❤️
